This paper firstly describe the originate of qi, blood, body fluids, and essence. At the same time ,it tells us how they build the interact with organs. Secondly, the paper describe the inter-relationship of Qi with lungs , spleen and liver. And introduced the function of Qi .By give examples to illustrate the disorder of qi movement can result in a series of symptoms and can build corresponding treatment. Thirdly, the author tells us the blood have the relationship with the liver, spleen, and heart. Discuss how the organs control the blood and the function of blood. If the movement of blood is abnormal or the deficiency of blood that cause a series of symptoms.

Besides, this passage tells us the essence have interact with kidney and the body fluids have relationship with spleen. No matter the originate or stored of essence both are have relationship with kidney, and it play a important role in body’s growth. The transported of body fluids also need the function of spleen. Unit 5 Zang-fu Theory

The zang-fu is the principal theory of TCM, which is to explains the physiological functions of zang-fu and interdependent relationship of zang-fu. zang-fu organs are thought as complex function systems.

This paper, through describe the function and character of the zang and the fu to differentiate of zang and fu. At the same time, this paper discuss the discuss not only the zang-fu have close contact with related sense organs and body tissues, but also have deep relationship with emotions. And introduce the functions of the zang organs briefly and inter-relationship of the zang-fu organs . Indicate that the zang-fu systems is complex function systems which is based on concept of wholism. At last, this paper describe the application of zang-fu theory , such as how to understand the etiology and pathogenesis of disorders , differentiate syndromes of disease according to zang-fu theory and some treatment principles according the zang-fu theory.

The subject of this paper intend to show the importance of zang-fu theory in TCM, and the human form an organic whole by meridian system. The zang-fu organs play a vital role.
