Ask interactive(open-ended) questions. Have Ss describe the story. Try to infer: draw conclusions about the text, the author, or a character or laugh at the funny parts

Do not worry about grammar. Ask a child what he hopes to find out. Let Ss ask questions before, during, and after reading about the story. Focus on the most important ideas.
