文章段落之间的逻辑关系主要由过渡词来完成，在修辞中称为启、承、转、合。“启”就是开头, “承”是承接，“转”是转折，“合”是综合或总结。

There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government should take even more concrete measures. What do I Think about Grades?

Grades are really important for students. Schools and the whole society evaluate a student just by his or her grades in subjects. Students with high grades are often considered winners. Those with lower grades are, unfortunately, looked on as losers. Forced by this, all the students try their best to get higher grades no matter how much they like the courses.

I believe that a grading system is good for a school, but it is not the only measure of a student’s ability. Schools should set up more practical courses, for example, to train students to solve practical problems. Or they can give more thoughts to some other forms which can arouse interest in learning instead of just grades.

How to Be a Good Learner

Learning methods are very important to every student. Usually a good learner gets twice the result with half the effort. A poor learner also wishes to improve himself but doesn’t know how.

Being a good learner, one should have a proper study plan and be good at thinking and solving problems with the help of reference books, such as a dictionary. One also has to sum up what has been learned, seize every chance to learn and make full use of all kinds of learning resources. Besides, one is supposed to be good at both work and rest.
