Study Plan

Seeing poor people begging money for surviving every day on my way to school has made me question myself frequently that how and what I can do to help them. This tragic scenery has inspired me to be an economist, for I have always believed that an economist is a helpful and useful key human resource for the development of the country’s economy. I am planning to become an economist after my university graduation, for I am tremendously passionate in economics and mathematics. After many years of vibrant, hard study, I have chosen to pursue Bachel or’s degree of Economics at Royal University of Law and Economics. Yet, the journey to my goal has just begun.

I believe that only a well-prepared study plan is prospective enough to provide me with effective strategies both for my future studies and for my subsequent career in development sector in Cambodia. Having learnt the necessary and basic theoretical build-up through my first year, I consider myself qualified enough for a challenging and esteemed undergraduate program in China whose study environment, research focus, facilities, and professors are ideal and erudite to help me be able to reach my precise goals.

My main objective I am going to learn and focus on is Chinese language and culture; this not only will satisfy my desire of learning a new language but also, delicately, will enable me to greatly improve my Chinese proficiency and fluency through daily practice. Chinese is unquestionably the most important and widely spoken language in the whole world. China has the eldest and the most magnificent culture among all of the countries in Asia, so it is a fortunate and marvelous opportunity for me to broaden my knowledge of Chinese magnificent traditions and cultures. How could anything be better than living temporarily in China to study Economics while being able to learn Chinese language, astounding history, and culture at the same time? I completely believe I will adapt myself into Chinese society without any culture shock since I am a flexible and sociable person, and I can adjust my lifestyle quickly. Moreover, I will obey all the school’s discipline and the country’s laws obediently.

Another significant thing I aim to intensify on is the pursuit of my economic skill. I am a strong-willed and committed person; thus, when I plan to get or to know something, I bare in mind that eventually it is going to be laid in my hands. It is undeniable that there is no success without persistence. Being an economist has always been a passion of mine because it is my academic and professional goal. Ever since I have started studying economics, that creative ideas and critical solutions have submerged in my brain makes me even more energetic to obtain all new knowledge in the sphere of economics. I am aspiring to accumulate all techniques, knowledge and experience from erudite professors in China, whereas I will do a lot of more self-study and research on related documents because whenever I study in a class, I am eager to stand out and be the top one. Therefore, I am willing to pull out all my energy, experience, knowledge to study and absorb all lessons and skills provided. Also, I am going to work both individually and in group to learn and to share my experience and knowledge. Furthermore, China has been experiencing a sharp, rapid growth in her economy; thus, I am going to have lots of opportunity to master my study on economic skill and expose myself into a top economic environment. At any chance can I pursue my bachelor degree and make my next leap in my life with abroad experience, I will be able to acquire fluency of Chinese language and reach my academic and professional goal at the same time.
