Module 4 Unit 1 Do you like meat ?

Ⅰ.Teaching contents

This lesson includes two parts:

Activity 1: Listen and chant

Activity2: Listen, point and find “ Do you like _____?”Ⅱ.Teaching aims

1.Aims on skills

To enable Ss to communicate with new sentences in real situation.

2.Aims on knowledge

(1)N ew words : do , don’t , meat, fish, rice, milk, noodles.

(2)N ew sentences:

“Do you like____?”

“Yes, I do./ No, I don’t .”

3.Aims on emotion

To foster Ss’consciousness of good cooperation and treasure food.

4.Aims on learning strategy

To enable Ss to use new sentences in real situation.

5.Culture consciousness

To foster Ss’ consciousness of healthy diet and know how to save food in daily life.

Ⅲ.Important and difficult points

1.New words teaching: meat, fish, rice, milk, noodles.

2.New sentences teaching:

Do you like ______?

Yes , I do ./ No, I don’t.

3 The pronunciation of the word : don’t

Ⅳ. Teaching aids:

CAI, a tape recorder, color pencils, word cards.

Ⅴ.Teaching process and purposes

Step 1 Warming up.

1. Greetings.

2. Sing a song : The ABC song

(设计意图: 拉近师生间的距离,给学生营造良好的英语学习氛围,为新课的学习做好铺垫。)

Step 2 Presentation.

1.Lead in:

T shows some color pencils to Ss.

T: Look ,what color ? Yellow, I like yellow. Do you like yellow?

依次引入green, blue.问几个学生。

(2)Let ’s chant :

I like yellow ,I like blue ,

I like green, do you like them too?

( 学生一边跟唱,一边有节奏的拍手掌)

(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,通过复习旧知,引出新知,达到温故而知新的目的)

2.T shows a picture of meat ,asks:“What's this? Meat .Do you like meat? ”

引入Module4Unit1 并板书领读课题。

教学单词meat (多媒体出示)

T: My favourite food is meat. 跟读单词meat (分组读)

操练单词和句型Do you like meat ? Yes , I do . / No ,I don’t. (借用笑脸和哭脸)

3、教学单词fish(多媒体出示)

I like meat. And I like fish,too. 跟读单词(个别读)操练单词和句型

4、教学单词rice (多媒体出示)(开火车读)

Look! What’re they? They are rice. Rice.跟读。Do you like rice ? We eat rice everyday.

5、教学单词noodles (多媒体出示)(分男女生读。)

Are they rice ?No,they aren’t. They are noodles.I don’t like noodles .Do you like noodles? 跟读单词。

6、教学单词milk (多媒体出示)(个别读)

I like milk .Milk,milk. Do you like milk ?

7、全班练读单词和句型

(设计意图:通过不同的方法来操练单词目的是争取使所有的学生都参与到学习中来。通过小组竞读,点名读的方法目的是利用三年级争强好胜的性格来实现单词的操练,以调动学生的积极性。)

Step 3、Practice

1、快速说单词—If you know, please stand up quickly and say.

2、运用“开火车”游戏进行句子的提问,学生用Do you like______?Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.进行一个接一个的连锁回答。

(设计意图:让学生在轻松愉快的游戏形式中巩固新单词和新句型,达到学中玩,玩中学的目的)

3、Sentences practice:

(1)师生对话。Do you like…要是生回答Yes, I do.师就把图片给他并说:Here you are.问答完后,Does she like…? 肯定回答:“Yes,she does. No,She doesn’t.”

(2)T: Look! Here comes Panpan.(让一名学生带上熊猫盼盼的头饰)“ Let’s ask Panpan what he likes.”学生随意选择一种食物并用句型Do you like…提问。

Step 4、Dialogue learning

(1)T: Ms Smart、Lingling、Amy、Sam|、Tom are having dinner. Let’s go to see what food they like。播放视频,students watch and listen carefully.
