Assessment
•8 Quizzes—20%
Quiz questions are based on Analytical Listening and Further Listening in each unit of Pathways. Those materials are to be dealt with by yourselves after class.
•Individual Presentation—5% (see the requirements on )
•Group Presentation—10%
Your grade depends on content, pronunciation, presenting skills, visual aids, etc.
Topics: see the “Engaging” section of each unit, 国际交流英语视听说Pathways 2
Each group member speaks for 3-5 minutes.
•Submit both presentation scripts through (批改网), and revise them at least 3
times—5%
Search 陆蓉蕾on , submit and revise your scripts before your presentation date.
•Final Exam —60%
The exam includes 1 dialogue and 1 video that are new, and 1 video that is already dealt with in class.
•Bonus Points ≤2%
Other in-class speaking activities (e.g. making small speeches, role-play, commenting on classmates’ work, etc.) --Impressive performance—bonus points!
Note: New students might be added to some groups before the registration system is closed.
