Involves the transfer of information through listening ★Kinesthetic: Involves physical experience; touching feeling, movement and practical hands-on experiences.
Involves the use of Learning Styles seen or observed things
Four Types of Learning Styles
• Diverging (Feeling and Watching) Reflectors • Assimilating (Thinking and Watching) Theorists • Converging (Doing and Thinking) Problem Solvers • Accommodating (Feeling and Doing) Activists
For example, as well as explaining a new language, l anguage teachers often p rovide other learning e xperiences such as books, c harts, videos, audio cassettes, songs, debates and group w ork. Activists活动型 Doing and Feeling
• They jump into the task. • They base feelings on intuition rather than logical analysis. • They prefer working with others. • They like to listen and then act upon what knowledge they have.

A learning style is one’s consistent way of responding to and using stimuli in the environment.
The advantage of knowing what kind of learner you are is that you can then study in the way that best suits your learning style .
Theorists理论型 Watching and Thinking
Problem Solvers问题解决型 Doing and Thinking
• They like to solve problems and find practical solutions to practical issues. • The problem or the task is more interesting to them than interactions with others.
Reflectors反思型 Feeling and Watching
• Like to look at things from different perspectives. • They tend to gather information and view concrete situations from different viewpoints. • They like to work in groups. • They listen with an open mind. • They like to receive personal feedback
• They prefer a concise, logical approach. • They like reading, lectures and analysis of abstract concepts. • They are less people-oriented and prefer to solve problems on their own.
