The roast is very famous in Brazil. Customers just sit, waiting for waiters to send them all kinds of meat. If you like, you take one; if you don’t, the waiters go to another guest.

One day when I was in Brazil, I went to a restaurant to try the roast. After I took my seat, a waiter gave me a sign with the color “red” on one side and “green” on the other. I put it down on the table, and then the waiters began to serve me. My plate was already full, but the waiters still kept on serving me more. I had to eat more quickly. But to my surprise, the waiters still kept on serving me more. I thought I couldn’t eat any more.

When I was wondering why they kept serving me, a man beside me looked at me and smiled. Of course, he told me the reason. He helped me turn the sign over, with red outside. When I finished the rest food, I found the waiters didn’t serve me and just went to others. If I didn’t call them, th ey wouldn’t take a look at me.

Do you know why? It’s just like the traffic lights in the street. If you don’t give the message of stopping serving, the waiters will go on. How interesting!
