This measure is beneficial in some case because none of his students have played truant since he gave out red envelopes. Besides, all the students are active in class.

In my opinion, there is no doubt that we should make use of the convenience hitch brings to us. As for teachers, he should try any good ways to attract his students to have his lessons. But I don’t think it is a good idea to send red envelopes because it will raise the students’ awareness of materials, misleading students to think money is the most important.

There are many other good ways to appeal to students for his lessons.

2. Some students are in favor of buying them and have spent much money to purchase them online. They think top students’ notebooks are well, neatly and fully writ ten, which can benefit them a lot. Secondly, it can save them much time as well as money. On one hand, they needn’t take trouble to take notes in class so they can listen to teachers attentively. On the other hand, they don’t pay money for other references. Meanwhile, reusing their notebooks is also environmentally friendly,

However, others hold the different view. Notebooks are their private possession and shouldn’t be open. Besides, it is easier to remember what teachers explain in class. What shocks us most is that more notebooks online are found to be fake and done by some others. Many customers have been cheated.

Personally, I insist on taking notes myself and not buying others’.

5. To Raise the Environmental Awareness of the Public

Last Friday, the Students’ Un ion organized a clean-up project in Dangbin park east of our city, for the purpose of raising the environmental awareness of the public. At around 4p.m, 35 students went to the park to pick up the litter. Actually, they did a wonderful job. When they were collecting the litter, many people came to help, showing considerable appreciation and support. But the work still left something to be desired. For one thing, since it was started late in the afternoon, it was not long enough to attract enough people. For another, some people passed by because they even didn’t know what they were doing. Otherwise, their project could have been much better and more effective.

Next time if we have similar activities, I think we should try to start earlier. And also, we can put up some posters to tell people what we are doing an call their attention to environmental protection. Thank you.
