Our environment is very important to all the living things. We need fresh air, clean water and so on. However, there are more and more environmental problems. Why?
In the past, there were many trees around us. The air was fresh and the river was clean. But now, people cut down too many trees, pour dirty water into rivers, and pollute air because of too many private cars. As a result, the problem of pollution is very serious. We should protect our environment. First, we should plant many trees to keep air clean. Second, we can ride a bike or walk to the school and work. Third, we should stop polluting rivers. Fourth, we should reuse plastic bags. It’s everyone’s responsibility to protect our environment! (125 words)
The Way to Stay Healthy

It’s important for us to be healthy all our life. We can’t study or work well without healthy body. There are many ways to keep healthy.
First of all, we should keep having exercise every day. We can walk to school instead of taking a bus. After school, we can spend an hour playing ball games. If we live in a high-rise, we can walk upstairs or downstairs. Second, we should have a balanced diet. We’d better eat a lot of rice, enough fresh vegetables and fruit, a little meat and fat. Finally, we must remember, “Early to bed, early to rise is the way to keep healthy, wealthy, and wise.”

A success experience in my memory
Everyone has a success experience in their memory. So do I. When I was a child, I was really poor at maths. I was very upset but my mum always encouraged me to solve the maths problems. I kept thinking about the difficult maths problems until 9 o’clock every night. What’s more , I never give up hope. At last, I got the first prize in an important exam. I was proud of myself. I have learned that if I work hard, I will succeed one day. All of us should believe that tomorrow will be more colourful.
I have grown up
From my point of view, growing up is a process full of happiness, sadness and thanks. There was one thing happening many years ago, but I still remember it now. It was on a cold winter morning, I woke up suddenly because of the noise from the kitchen. I walked there angrily and wondered
what had happened. However, to my surprise, my mum was hurt by the hot oil while she was frying eggs for breakfast. I could actually feel her pain although she smiled. She even apologized to me for influencing/affecting my sleep. I felt so sorry and thankful. I realized her love at that moment and I thought I had grown up since then. What a warm family I have ! I’ve taken many photos with my friends, teachers and family so far. But the photo I love most is the one on my desk because it makes me think of my happy moments with my friend. On a cool autumn weekend, we planned an outing to climb mountains. When we arrived at the foot of the mountain, I was very excited. An hour later, it was so hot that I didn't want to continue climbing. However, he encouraged me ‘Don’t give up, believe yourself!’ Then I tried my best to go on and managed to reach the top of the mountain finally.
