Turner liked use yellow when he was painting, but people didn’t accept it. The most visible feature of Turner’s painting is use bright yellow, blue and pink color tone.
William turner was an English Romanticist landscape painter, who think what the artist felt is more important than what the artist seen. He showed his talent in art when he was young, and he was enrolled in Royal Academy of Art when he was 14, and after he was 33，he taught in the there for 30 years. He made the position of landscape painting as same as history painting and portrait painting. He was a hardworking artist, he still held a paint brush dipped pigment when he was died. He spent his whole life on art.
When the transport ship in the painting was meeting a storm, Turner was on this ship. He asked the sailors to truss him on the spar to observe the sea and he stayed on the spar for 4 hours. He said, he didn’t expect he can alive, but if he can, he had the responsibility to show all of this that he had seen, he had felt.
