基于GPON的光纤接入网设计
摘要
吉比特无源光网络(Gigabit-Capable Passive Optical Network,GPON)技术是
基于ITU-T G.984.x标准的新一代宽带无源光网络接入标准,是实现FTTx的热
门技术之一。相对于现有的接入网技术,GPON具有高带宽、高效率、高分光比、
长距离传输、覆盖范围广、用户接口丰富等特点,并且能大量节省运营商在接入
层馈线段的光纤资源,为各种业务类型提供相应的QoS保证。GPON还规定了在接入网层面上的保护机制和完整的OAM功能,使光纤自动倒换时间小于
50ms。由于这些优点,GPON被大多数运营商视为实现接入网业务宽带化、综合化改造的理想技术。
本论文首先从宽带接入技术的发展出发,介绍了目前几种主流的FTTx技术以及PON技术的发展和种类,分析了FTTx网络的各个组成部分的作用,指出了GPON技术的优势。其次介绍了GPON的结构原理,重点研究了GPON的关键技术、应用模式,组网方式及设备类型,分析了GPON的上下行帧结构、业务承载能力以及QoS技术等。最后以一个小区用户业务需求为案例,提出了基于GPON的小区FTTH解决方案,通过FTTH组网设计、小区GPON FTTH总体设计、ODN建设方案、光分路比的选取,成本、设备选取、传输损耗和业务带宽提供等方面,体现小区GPON接入的可行性,指出GPON是目前三网融合、光纤到户的最佳解决方案。

ABSTRACT
GPON(Gigabit Passive Optical Network) technology, which based on the ITU-T G.984.x standard, is a new generation broadband passive optical access standards. It is one of the hot technologies for FTTx implementation. Compared with the existing technology of access network, GPON offers the following features: high bandwidth, high transmission efficiency, high extinction ratio, long transmission distance, wide coverage and rich user interfaces. And GPON can save a large amount of fiber resources in the access layer feeder section for ISPs, providing QoS guarantees on various business types. GPON also provides protection mechanisms on the access level and complete OAM function, which ensures optical fiber automatic switching time less than 50ms. According to
these advantages, GPON is considered as an ideal technology to implement broadband access network services and integrated transformation by most ISPs.
This paper starts from the development of broadband access technology. Several mainstream FTTx technology, the development and categories of PON technology are
introduced. The functions of every part of FTTx network are analyzed. The
advantages of GPON are presented. Then, GPON’s structure principle is introduced,
and key technology, application mode, network way and device type
are detailed studied. The frame structure of the uplink and downlink of GPON, business carrying and QoS technology are analyzed. Finally, a FTTH solutions based on the GPON for a residential is proposed. Through the FTTH network design, residential GPON FTTH general design, ODN building program, selection, cost, equipment selection and business bandwidth provision, reflects the feasibility of residential GPON is reflected. GPON is pointed to be the best program for triple-play and FTTH.
