The Report On Old Men’s Life
In 2000，the population of China is about 1,242,610,000. And the population of senior citizen is over 129,980,000 ,including 63,380,000 male over sixty years old, which takes up 48.76 % of all the old people ,while female takes up 51.20 % ,that is 66,600,000 .In 2015 , the number will increase to 200,000,000 senior citizens .
According to my survey, I’ve found out how old people live in China now.
(Ⅰ):Live Conditions Of Senior Citizen
All the old people have certain incomes from factories where they worked or insurance companies. And they also have their own houses. Some live with their children, while the old people without children can choose to live in the Old People’s Homes.
About the Healthy Care:
They have the insurance. If they have it, the senior citizens can afford the medical-fee with the help of our government.
(Ⅱ): Spare Life
The senior citizens have many choices to spend their spar time. For example, they can choose to join the clubs, to get around in different cities by bicycle or to realize their dreams which they had no time to realize when they were young. They can go to the college to learn knowledge. And some people still want to make construction for their motherland, so they choose to work again.
In all, all the facts show that the senior citizens are living a happy and colorful life now. I’m sure that their future lives will be better and better.
