英语强调句

1.用助动词“do ( does /did ) + 动词原形”来表示强调。如：

He does know the place well .

Do write to me when you get there .

Tom did do his homework yesterday .

2.用强调句型“ It is / was + 被强调部分 + that / who + 原句其他部分”来强调说话人的意愿。如：

It was I that ( who ) borrowed the bike last Sunday .

It was in 1997 that Hong Kong returned to China.

注意：强调主语时，that 或 who 后的谓语和主语一致。

3.用倒装句来加强语气，也就是将要强调的句子或被强调的部分置于句首。如：Only in this way can we solve this problem .

Many a time have I climbed that hill .

4.用重复来表示强调、如：

Why! Why! The cage is empty !

5.用感叹句来表示强烈的感情，突出说话人的情感。如：

How beautiful the girl is !

What tall boys they are !

6.用in the world , on earth , at all等介词短语可以表达较强的语气，常用于疑问句。如：

What on earth is it ?

Where in the world could he be ?

Do you know at all?

7.用very ,only , single ,such , last等修饰名词或形容词来加强语气。如：

That is the very textbook we used last term .

You are the only person here who can speak Chinese . Not a single person has been in the shop this morning . How dare you buy such expensive jewels ?
