Some of the problems that modern cities face include traffic and transportation issues, air pollution, garbage collection, expensive housing, and crime. Cities can solve some of these problems by providing good public transportation, enforcing environmental protection laws, providing garbage collection and recycling programs, and creating parks and other green spaces.
