“I love you as high as I can reach,” said Little Nutbrown Hare. “I love you as high as I can reach,”
said Big Nutbrown Hare.
That is very high,thought Little Nutbrown Hare. I wish I had arms like that.
大兔子笑着说：「可是，我爱你，像我跳的这么高，
高得不能再高。」他往上一跳，耳朵都碰到树枝了。
“But I love you as high as I can hop,” smiled Big Nutbrown Hare

“I love you all the way up to my toes!” He said.
大兔子把小兔子抛起来，飞得比

“And I love you all the way up to your toes,”said Big Nutbrown Hare,
swinging him up over his head.
小兔子笑起来了，说：「我爱你，像我跳的这么高，
高得不能再高。」他跳过来又跳过去。
“I love you as high as I can hop!” laughed Little Nutbrown Hare,
Bouncing up and down.

Big Nutbrown Hare had even longer
arms.“But I love you this much,” he said. Hmm, that is a lot,
thought Little Nutbrown Hare.

He wanted to be sure that Big Nutbrown Hare was listening.
“Guess how much I love you,” he said. “Oh, I don’t think I could guess that,” said Big Nutbrown Hare.

大兔子轻轻地把小兔子放在叶子铺成的床上， 低下头来亲亲他，祝他晚安。 Big Nutbrown Hare settled Little Nutbrown Hare into his bed of leaves. He leaned over and kissed him good night.
然后，大兔子躺在小兔子的旁边，小声的微笑着说： 「我爱你从这里一直到月亮，再 ── 绕回来。」
Then he lay down close by and whispered with a smile, “I love you right up to the moon ── and back.”
「猜猜我有多爱你。」 「噢，我大概猜不出来。」大兔子说。
「我爱你这么多。」小兔子把手臂张开，开得不能再开。
“This much,”said Little Nutbrown Hare, stretching out his arms as wide as they could go.

小兔子要上床睡 觉了，他紧紧抓

Then Little Nutbrown Hare had a good idea. He tumbled
upside down and reached up the tree trunk with his feet.
