[摘要] 锅炉整体的结构包括锅炉本体和辅助设备两大部分。本文就船舶辅锅炉的自动控制和运行管理进行论述。首先,介绍了锅炉的功用和工作原理。锅炉在船舶辅助机械中占有非常重要的位置，我们只有对锅炉的结构有了深入了解，才可以为以后的工作带来更多便利；其次，介绍了锅炉的自动控制系统。随着船舶自动化程度的提高，锅炉的管理也越来越向着自动化、智能化的方向发展，特别PLC技术在锅炉自动化控制中的应用越来越普遍，作为一名管理者，有一个较好的自动化基础是十分有必要的；最后，介绍了锅炉的运行与管理。由于其地位的突出，所以平时的良好管理，可以减少很多不必要的麻烦。例如水位计的冲洗，炉水放残，烟管侧的吹灰，炉水水质的化验，油嘴和滤器的更换等工作。
