摘要

随着时代的进步,女性的社会地位发生了翻天覆地的变化,但竞争激烈劳动力市场中普遍存在性别不平等现象,尤其在女性职业发展过程中表现得特别明显。

本文在文献查阅、经验总结及比较分析等研究方法的基础上,借鉴性别理论的研究成果,从性别的角度出发来分析女性的主要特点,并基于我国的实际情况,结合第三期中国妇女社会地位调查主要数据总结劳动力市场上的现状:女性的就业不如男性,在就业过程中受到了性别歧视;女性在职业选择中受到很多限制,在第一、二、三产业中的分布差异大,职业流动性也很差;并且在晋升中,女性往往会遇到玻璃天花板现象,大多数单位中的一把手都是男性,女性领导依然是少数;劳动收入上男女也对比明显。如此这些现象表明,影响女性职业发展的因素包括各个方面,性别并非起到实质性的作用。本文立足社会环境、组织以及女性自身三部分来分析和总结阻碍女性职业发展的原因,最后通过介绍和借鉴国外对促进女性职业发展的措施,探讨对提高女性职业发展的措施与建议。

通过研究发现,职业发展过程中的确存在性别差异,而现代社会越来越需要女性在职业舞台上发挥更大的潜能。女性约占我国总人口的一半,是社会建设的重要力量,其职业发展需要获得平等的对待,本文旨在帮助女性认识自身的特点,从而辅助她们拥有更好的职业发展。
