National Flag
Red color stands for equality and friendship, white color represents purity and virtue. The crescent expresses Singapore is a new country. The five stars represent the five major national ideals: " democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality.
Marina Bay Sands 滨海湾金沙
An integrated resort fronting Marina Bay It consists three 55-storey buildings Includes a hotel, a convention-exhibition centre, the shops, a museum, two large theatres, two floating Crystal Pavilions, an ice skating rink, and the world's largest casino. It has a sky park and a 150-meters long infinity pool perched 200 meters above the ground with a beautiful view overlooking Singapore’s surrounding Central Business District area.
Singapore's total land area is 697 square kilometers including 63 islands. The main island is about 42 kilometers from east to west and 23 kilometers from north to south. The latitude is between 1°09'N and 1°29'N The longitudes si between 103°36'E and 104°25'E. It is located about 137 kilometers north of the Equator.

• It is the second Universal Studios theme park opened in Asia (Japan being the first). • Packed with 24 attractions, 18 of them new or adapted for Singapore. Geography

Population
The resident population of Singapore, comprising Singapore citizens and permanent residents, was estimated at 5,312,400. Singapore is a multiracial society. Malays form 13.8% of Singapore„s population, while Chinese and Indians make up 76.2% and 8.3% respectively. Other races make up 1.7% of the population.
National Flower
• The national flower of Singapore is Vanda 'Miss Joaguim (卓锦· 万代兰). It has a beautiful lip piece and five petals, symbolizes the Singapore four big ethnic group and Malay, English, Mandarin and Tamil languages four equality.

• “ Sentosa” in Malay, meaning “ peace ”. Because the island was once a British military base, the Singapore government decided to turn it into a complete resort and gave such a beautiful name. • The attractions include a 2 km (1.2 mi) long sheltered beach, Fort Siloso, two golf courses, two five-star hotels, and the Resorts World Sentosa, featuring the theme park Universal Studios Singapore, Marine Life Park and one casino.

• Little India is Singapore‟s primary Indian community. It is full of Indian culture elements. Many of old day trades can still be found by its roadsides. Fortunetellers and their parrots, flower vendors selling bracelet of jasmine, kachang puteh (roasted nuts) sellers and street-side newspaper vendors are just some of the fascinating sights to be found.

Singapore is the important financial, service and shipping centers, one of Asia‟s Four Litter Dragons. It's famous for the steady political situation, clean-fingered and efficient government .
Climate
• Singapore has a tropical rainforest climate with no distinctive seasons, uniform temperature and pressure, high humidity, and abundant rainfall. Temperatures usually range from 23 to 32 °C. Relative humidity averages around 79% in the morning and 73% in the afternoon. April and May are the hottest months. From July to October, there is often haze caused by bush fires in neighboring countryIndonesia.

Merlion is located in Singapore River. It is the symbol of Singapore,an impressive statue. The word merlion consists of two parts,“mer” stands for mermaid,so merlion means a lion which has a fish tail.
