康明斯公司推荐在大多数气候条件下使用50%乙 烯乙二醇或丙烯乙二醇基的防冻液与50%纯净水 的混合液作发动机的冷却液。对使用湿缸套的C系 列以上的发动机还需要添加规定浓度的防腐蚀剂 DCA4。某些新型防冻液可以不需要DCA4,如加 德士公司的Extended Life Coolant.

CONSTITUTION:The cooling water taken from a discharge nozzle of the emergency core cooling pump 1 is guided through a water intake piping 2 and a valve 7 to a cyclone separator 3 which is a filter device. The water cleaned by the separator is injected through a water injecting piping 4a and a solenoid valve 9 to the mechanical seal of the emergency core cooling pump 1. The water separated from the cleaned water in the separator 3 is returned through a return piping 6 and a valve 8 to the suction side of the cooling pump 1. UNIT 21 EMERGENCY CORE COOLING SYSTEM

1.Engineered safety features (ESFs) are installed in the nuclear
power plant to mitigate the consequences in the accidents.
核电站内设置专设安全设施,以减轻事故的后果。
2.The ESFs include such systems as emergency core cooling system,
containment heat removal system (e.g., containment spray syste m), containment combustible gas control system, auxiliary feedw ater system, component cooling water system and emergency power system.
专设安全设施包括:应急堆芯冷却系统,安全壳热量导出系统(如安全壳喷淋系统),安全壳可燃气体控制系统,辅助给水系统,设备冷却水系统和应急电源。
3.The emergency core cooling system (ECCS) is designed to cool t
he reactor core and provide additional shutdown capability foll owing loss of coolant accident (LOCA), steam generator tube rup ture, or main steam line break.
