【教学过程】
一、Class Opening and Review
1. 歌曲(第九课所学)
2. 出示世界地图指着中国问
What’s this country? (China.)
What colour is this country?(It’s red.)
What’s the capital city of this country?(Beijing.)
What country is east of China?(the U.S.)
What do we speak in China?(Chinese)
Can you talk about China’s flag?(It’s red. It has yellow stars.)
What are the represent things in China?(The Palace Museum.)
通过综合语言训练方式复习了中国的基本常识。

2. 指着加拿大地图问
What’s this country? (Canada.)
What colour is this country?(It’s green.)
What do they speak in Canada?(English and French.)
What is the capital city of Canada? (It’s Ottawa.)
What country is south of Canada?(the U.S.)
Can you describe Canada’s flag? (Canada’s flag is red and White. It has a leaf.)
What is the famous waterfall in Canada?(Niagara Falls.)

1.教师问“Boys and girls, do you know the U.S.? ”
S: Yes.

通过对中国加拿大知识的对比,既复习了前两课的知识,又能对美国常识有深刻的印象。

4. 利用红色,蓝色和白色的纸制作美国国旗
亲手制作美国国旗,让学生终身难忘美国国旗的样子。

【教学目标】
1. 知识与技能:本课要求学生能正确听、说、读、写单词shop, shopping, buy.会口头运用句子Let's go shopping. I want to buy.会用句子表达自己的想法。

2.教学光盘或其他录音机设备;
3.教学课件;
4. 人物头饰。

【教学过程】
Step 1:Class Opening and Review
Greeting
Sing “The wheels on the bus”
Drill: Ask students to follow the directions.
Turn right.
Turn left
Go straight
Go up the stairs.
Step 2:New Concepts
1. Demonstrate
Discuss the photograph at the beginning of the unit.
a. What is the girl doing
b. Where is she
c. What does she want
Introduce the word "buy". Show some cards: clothes, bicycle,
教学侧记
tire, tea, silk. (Introduce silk). Ask the students where do you buy these things Then write down the name of the shop on the blackboard. Say them a few times with the class.
2. Student book
Point to each shop in the picture and say their names a few times. Ask the students if then can name any other things in the picture in English. Play the audiotape as the students follow in their books.
3. Drill
Drill the students on the names of the shops. As the teacher call out something, the students say where can buy it.
4. Demonstrate
T: I want a new shirt. Let's go shopping! Follow me, class.
C: Let's go shopping.
T: I want to buy a shirt. Follow me, class.
C: I want to buy a shit.
Introduce the two sentences and how to use them.
5. Student book:
Play the audiotape as the students follow in their books.
Discuss the dialogue.

Step 3:Homework
