复杂特殊疑问句
复杂特殊疑问句,又叫双重疑问句，它融一般疑问句与特殊疑问句于一体。

本句型分为两部分：第一部分分为一般疑问句;第二部分分为特殊疑问句，但其
疑问代（副）词要放在句首。

如:——We haven't heard from Jane for a long time。

—-What do you suppose has happened to her?
do you suppose为一般疑问句,What has happened to her为特殊疑问句
注意事项
①特殊疑问句虽被分割，但仍是一个整体.中间的 do you suppose 似乎像插入语.
②第二部分并不是严格意义上的特殊疑问句。

因为有了do you suppose，它不再使
用疑问句语序，而要用陈述句语序。

如：Why do you suppose the accident has happened？
你认为事故为什么会发生？
③句子的重心在第二部分。

虽有do you suppose存在，但不能用yes， no 回答。

与特殊疑问句相同，要根据疑问词做具体的、针对性回答。

比如对上一句，可以这样回答:
The accident happened because of the driver's carelessness.
或：The accident happened because the driver was careless. 事故发生了，因为驾驶员很粗心。

重难点分析
1.在一般疑问句中,除了suppose 外,还可以用believe， guess, imagine， say，propose， think， find， be sure。

疑问句在特殊疑问句中可担任不同成分.如:
①What do you believe is the most important thing for us to do in order
to learn English well？
(主语)你认为为把英语学好我们应该做的最重要的事是什么?
②How long are you sure they had known each other before they got married？（状语）你确信他们认识多久才结婚的？
③Who do you think he is?
（表语）你认为他是谁？

这种问句常用来征询对方对某事的看法、判断、意见或者请求重述等.
①Which do you think is the better of the two， A Concise English-Chinese Dictionary or A new English—Chinese Dictionary?
(意见）你认为这两本字典哪本好些，是“简明英汉字典”还是“新英汉字典”?
②Why do you guess he didn’t get in touch with you before he left Beijing？
（猜测)你认为他离开北京之前，为什么没有同你取得联系？
③——Why do you think Mrs Green wants to buy that kind of cloth very much?
——Because she has been told that the cloth washes well。

（看法）-—你看格林夫人为什么那么喜欢买那种布料？
——她听人说那种布耐洗.
④What does she find is the most important difference between day and night nursing?
（看法)她觉得白天护理同夜间护理最大的不同是什么？
⑤What time does the letter say he will leave for France？
