本单元主要是通过学习动物名称和常见的描述动物的形容词,学会用适当的形容词表达对动物的喜爱原因,能运用所学英语单词和句型简单描述出自己喜欢的动物,从而增强学生对动物的热爱并勇敢地将保护动物付诸于日常行动中去。
本课设计由情景导入,首先展示网上搜索到的去动物园的地图,让学生通过看地图复习已学过的问路指路句型,然后导出本课内容。
为了提高学生自主学习的能力,本课我设计了三个任务:任务一通过链接展示学生网上搜索到的有关动物的图片,引入本课的重点词汇与句型,学习有关动物的名词和询问喜欢哪种动物以及表达喜欢的原因的句子。
任务二是让学生挑选自己最喜欢的一种动物进行对话练习,并引导学生变换不同人称时,句子所做的变化,然后做替换练习。
任务三让学生做听力练习,对课堂进一步进行延伸和巩固,同时也能提高学生学习兴趣。
四、教学目标知识与技能1、掌握表示动物的名词和描述动物特征的形容词,例如:koala ,tiger ,elephant,dolphin,panda,lion,penguin,giraffe;cute,smart,interesting,fun。
2、能用英语简单的谈论、描述动物并用合适的形容词表达自己对动物的喜爱,如:What animals do you want to see? Lions.What animals do you like? I like pandas.What animals does he/she like? He/She likes giraffes.Why do you like tigers? 首先肯定的是老师的基本功能比较扎实,准备得也相当充分,且教师的语音清晰、语调得当,在语感上非常好;另外教师的表情亲切,教态良好,有亲和力。
所以使得整个课堂比较流畅,能使学生比较熟练地掌握本节课的内容,达到预期的教学目的。
下面我就谈谈我印象深刻的几点:1、评价方式多样有趣。
每当学生回答问题后,教师都会给予一定的评价。
而且在小组之间进行比赛,对表现比较好的学生所属的组进行鼓励,且用的不是“打星星”或“加分”这种老方法,而是以可爱的动物图片这种形式,看哪组动物园里的动物最多。
这较好地激发了学生的兴趣。
2、本课的教学观念新颖,设计构思精巧,体现师生互动,教师主导、学生主动的教学观念。
教师很注重与学生之间的交流,体现了“以人为本、把课堂还给学生”的教学原则。

教师在课堂中设计的环节都与我们的生活比较贴切,学生乐于去完成教师布置的任务。

在教学的最后,引入了“love animals”的话题,对学生进行适当的德育教育。
