教材分析:
《牛津小学英语》这套教材是按照“话题-功能-结构-任务”相结合的原则编写。
每个单元各部分的教授给了老师们极大的发挥空间,各课时的分配可以根据实际教学情况来决定。
本单元的主题是seasons,学生主要学习春、夏、秋、冬四个季节的英语表达和每个季节的天气情况,并且能用句型“What’s the weather like in…?” “Which seasondo you like best?”来进行语言交际。
本节课是操练单词和对话的功能课,所以在课堂上应采取各种教学方法使学生爱说、想说、敢说,培养学生的口语交际能力和自主学习的能力。
学生情况分析:
六年级的学生经过三年的英语学习,大部分学生已经掌握了一定的学习方法,所以在本课时的设计时笔者注重对学生自主性学习能力的培养。
教学目标:
(一)知识目标:
1. 能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词:season, weather, summer, autumn, best, spring和winter。
2. 能听懂、会说和会读单词:cool, windy, rain, warm, 和snowman
3. 能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型:What’s the
weather like…? It’s…
4. 能听懂、会说和会读句型:Which season do you like best? I like…best.(二)能力目标:
1. 能正确的理解、掌握对话内容,并能朗读,初步表演对话。
2. 能运用本课所学语言谈论气候和季节,并说说自己喜欢的季节。
3. 提高学生整体理解语篇的能力,为他们今后的对话学习打下良好的基础。
(三)情感目标:
1. 引导学生关注自己生活的地方的天气情况,进而加深对家乡的了解。
2. 采用“任务型”教学途径,激发学生的学习兴趣。
教学准备:
多媒体课件,教学相关图片和单词卡。
教学过程:
Step 1: Warming up

PPT快速闪现一些图片,看谁说的又快又准,最后一幅图片停在make snowmen上。
新授短语:make snowmen
【设计意图】上课伊始,师生一起做游戏既能调动学生学习英语的积
极性,拉近师生之间的关系,为学生营造一个轻松的学习环境,又符合小学生好动的年龄特点,满足他们好表现的欲望。
Step2: Presentation and practice
1. T: (PPT 依次呈现四季图片) Look, we can fly a kite in spring. We can go swimming in summer. We can go camping in autumn. And we can make snowmen inwinter.
T: Look, there are four beautiful pictures. What are they about?

T: Yes, they are about seasons. (揭示课题The seasons并板书)
【设计意图】season这个单词的意思比较抽象,由四季的图片导入,可以让学生形象的理解,降低了学习的难度。
2. T: (PPT呈现四季单词和图片) Look, which one can you read?
S: spring, autumn
T: Look at this picture, read after me, summer. (Teach: summer)

T: Listen, who can read now?(听winter录音3遍)

T: (板书spring, summer, autumn, winter) Now, we know there are four seasons in ayear. They’re spring, summer, autumn and winter.
T: (出示四季的图片)Which season do you like best?

T: 先示范两组后Work in pairs

【设计意图】学生在6A已经学习过spring, autumn,所以教学单词重点是summer,winter。
随后及时将新词带入句型中进行Work in pairs, 充分考虑学生的主体性,尽量多的为学生创造的互动交流的机会,而教师先行示范,,学生操练的目的才能得以明确,操练才会有效。
3. T: You did a good job. Let’s enjoy a song about the weather. (Teach: weather)(欣赏歌曲The weather song)

【设计意图】用一首轻松活泼的歌曲,自然将课堂从谈论季节过渡到谈论天气,让学生在不知不觉中又向前迈了一步。
而单词cool, warm 的处理,则是让学生先了解它们的中文意思,再进入单词的学习,帮助学生更好的区分两个单词,而带节奏的Chant则让学生进一步加深理解。

【设计意图】对于如何询问天气,不再是老师教学生读的固有模式,而是通过一首朗朗上口的儿歌,让学生自己去发现,这样的学习方式耳目一新,学生乐于去发现,自己去总结,一定会有事半功倍的效果。
Step 3: Learn the text (Part A)

【设计意图】设计让学生复述课文,一方面可以检查他们对新知识的掌握情况,另一方面可以培养他们自己组织语言材料进行口语交际的能力,让他们能够学以致用,也使整个课文的处理呈现出层层推进,由浅入深,层次分明,课文的复述是对学生提出的最高要求。

The sunny days are very rare(罕见). It often rains there. So people alwaystake umbrellas. But it usually has a shower(阵雨). There is a lot of fog, that’sthe reason(原因) that it is called ‘Foggy City ‘(雾都).Summer in London is not very long. Autumn is the best season in London.It’s warm and cool. It’s good for travelling.
T: Huai’an has four distinctive seasons. But London doesn’t. It’s often ra iny andfoggy. It’s not very hot in summer and it’s not very cold in winter.
