学情分析

Lesson 4: The Spring City 教学设计一.教材分析:教材的地位和作用:我要教授的是八年级下册第1单元Lesson 4: The Spring City,本教材在初中三年的学习中起到了承上启下的作用,文章的知识难度有所增加,篇幅有所增长,实用性也更强,紧贴学生的实际生活,注重学生的成长。
本册从第一单元的春天来了,二三单元的植物和动物的介绍到第四五六单元网络和购物和运动,紧扣人们生活,最后号召人们热爱我们的生活我们的世界,爱护我们的地球,单元间紧密相连。
下面我以第一单元第四课为例进行教学设计。
二.教学目标:1.知识目标:掌握“四会”词汇:nearly,plenty掌握短语:plenty of,long for,because of,think of ,feel like,all year round,hundreds of掌握句子:Everyone longs for spring.Spring is a short season in many places around the world.The weather here is neither too hot nor too cold.There’s plenty of sunshine too.2.能力目标:能了解描述自己所在地天气的表达法。
会用英语表达自己当地天气情况,当地春天的情况。
3.情感目标:热爱自己的家乡,热爱大自然。
(设计意图:将三维目标相结合,即知识与技能,过程与方法,情感态度与价值关相结合)三.教学重难点:(突出重点,让学生在有限的时间内掌握最多最有用的知识,切忌不能胡子眉毛一把抓)。

通过讲授本课课文大部分的学生能掌握了绝大部分的知识,大部分的学生可以背下文章的重点内容,达到了预期效果。
也有一部分基础不太好的学生没有掌握这些知识点,对待这部分学生,课下单独询问所学内容的掌握情况,单独留适合他们的作业。
对于本课出现的一些单词,有些学生读的不准确,还应该多读读,对于个别学生应该个别指导。
