Language goal：flashcard，vocabulary, aloud, pronunciation

Talk about how to study English

Ability goal：

学习使用“How do you study …? ”及其答语“I study by …”句型

Emotion goal：

Talk about the ways for studying English

Give them the confidence to learn and enjoy English.二．Teaching importance and difficulties

How do you study for a test /learn English?

I study/learn by listening to tapes/ by working with friends…/by studying with a group...

三．Teaching steps

Step 1 Lead-in with a free talk

Introduce a new friend.His name is Bob.He is good at playing basketball. But he doesn’t do well in lear ning English.There’s an English test on Tuesday. OK , Today ,let’s talk about how to study for a test and how to learn English well. （展示课题）

Step 2 Activity 1----which is the most popular ways of studying.

Ask the students how they usually study for a test.

Use the Power- point to learn the different ways, make a simple count. Learn the new words.And make a conclusion.

Flashcard（抽认卡）: It’s a kind of card with a word or a picture on it ,and it’s usually be used for teaching

Vocabulary（词汇）:It means that all the words someone knows. Step 3 Pairwork and discussion:Ask your partner how he or

she studies for a test.Try to think of other

ways

Now, we divided into two teams, the girls’ team and the boys’team, which team listens carefully and answers my questions quickly, I’ll give them a star. Well, Our race is started.
