a lot的用法1)作名词短语,意为“许多”we learned a lot on the farm.在农场我们学到了许多(东西)。

sound like听起来像,后面接名词。

Take up学者做,开始做He took up English at the age of five.他五岁开始学习英语。
take up还以为“占有”The piano takes up too much space.这架钢琴占地方太多。

Weekly形容的,“每周的”某些表示时间的名词加-ly构成形容词。

too后面接形容词或副词的原级,to后接动词原形。

too…to…可转换为so…that…结构,so后面接形容词或副词的原级,that后接从句;也可转换为…enough to…结构。
She is too young to go to school.=She is so young that she can’t go to school.=She isn’t old enough to go to school.她年龄太小不能上学。
