本节课作为本单元 A 部分的第一课时,其核心句型为:How tall is it? It’s ... How tall are you? I’m ... It’s/I’m ... than ... 学生通过学习感知上述核心句型的语义及语用情景,学会比较人或动物的外貌特征,富有很强的实用性和趣味性,也为本单元后面的教学提供了语言知识铺垫。

【学情分析】本节课的教学对象是六年级的学生,三年多的英语学习,帮助他们积累了比较丰富的词汇和句型。
