Section 1You will hear a conversation between a student and a professor. The student is seeking advice on how to improve her listening skills for the upcoming A-level English exam. Listen carefully and answer the questions below.Student: Hello, Professor Smith. I hope you can help me. I'm really struggling with my listening skills for the A-level English exam. Do you have any tips or strategies that might help me improve?Professor: Of course, I'd be happy to help. Improving your listening skills requires regular practice and exposure to a variety of English accents. One effective strategy is to listen to authentic English materials, such as podcasts, radio shows, or movies. This will help you become familiar with different accents and improve your overall comprehension.Student: That sounds like a great idea. But sometimes I find it difficult to understand the fast-paced conversations in these materials. Any suggestions on how to overcome this?Professor: Good question. When listening to fast-paced conversations, it's important to focus on the main ideas and key points. Try not to get caught up in understanding every single word. Pay attention to context and use your prior knowledge to fill in the gaps. With practice, your listening speed and comprehension will improve.Student: Thank you, Professor. I'll definitely give that a try. Are there any other strategies that I can use to enhance my listening skills?Professor: Absolutely. Another useful strategy is to engage in active listening. This means taking notes while you listen, jotting down important keywords or phrases, and summarizing the main ideas after each listening session. This will help you retain information and reinforce your understanding of the material.Student: That makes sense. I'll make sure to take notes and review them later. Do you have any recommendations for specific resources or materials that I can use?Professor: There are various online platforms and apps that provide authentic listening materials with accompanying transcripts. These resources allow you to listen, read, and compare your understanding with the transcript. Additionally, you can practice listening torecordings of English conversations and then try to reproduce them by speaking aloud. This will help improve your pronunciation and speaking skills as well.Student: Thank you so much, Professor Smith. I really appreciate your guidance. I'll put these tips into practice and give it my best shot in the upcoming exam.Professor: You're welcome, and good luck with your preparation. Remember, consistent practice and exposure are the keys to success. Keep practicing, and I'm confident you'll see significant improvement in your listening skills.Section 2You will hear a monologue from a student who recently took the A-level English exam. Listen carefully and answer the questions below.Student: Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience of taking the A-level English exam. The listening section was definitely challenging, but with some preparation, I managed to do well.Firstly, I made it a habit to listen to English podcasts and radio shows regularly. This helped me get used to different accents and improved my overall listening comprehension. I also practiced watching English movies without subtitles, which forced me to rely solely on my listening skills.During the actual exam, I focused on understanding the main ideas and key points of each listening passage. I didn't stress about understanding every single word. If there were difficult parts, I used my prior knowledge and context to guess the meaning. This approach helped me maintain my confidence and allowed me to answer the questions effectively. In terms of resources, I found online platforms and apps extremely helpful. They provided a wide range of listening materials with transcripts and practice exercises. I would listen to the recordings, read the transcripts, and compare them to see where I went wrong. This helped me identify my weaknesses and areas for improvement.Additionally, I engaged in active listening by taking notes during practice sessions. I would jot down keywords, phrases, and important details. After each session, I would review my notes and summarize themain ideas. This not only reinforced my understanding but also helped me retain the information for longer.Overall, preparing for the listening section of the A-level English exam requires dedication, practice, and exposure to authentic materials. By incorporating these strategies into my study routine, I was able to improve my listening skills and perform well in the exam. Good luck to all of you who are preparing for it!Section 3You will hear a conversation between two students discussing their strategies for the A-level English listening exam. Listen carefully and answer the questions below.Student 1: Hey, have you started preparing for the A-level English listening exam?Student 2: Yes, I have. It's quite challenging, but I'm determined to do well. What about you?Student 1: I've been practicing by listening to English podcasts and watching movies in English without subtitles. It has helped me getaccustomed to different accents and improved my overall comprehension.Student 2: That's a good strategy. I've also been using online platforms that provide listening materials and transcripts. I listen to the recordings, read along with the transcripts, and then try to answer the questions without looking at the text.Student 1: Oh, that's an interesting approach. I should try that too. Do you have any other tips?Student 2: Yes, I find it helpful to create flashcards with keywords or phrases related to the listening passages. I shuffle them and listen to a recording, trying to match the information from the passage with the corresponding flashcard.Student 1: That's a clever idea. It seems like an effective way to reinforce vocabulary and improve memory. I’ll definitely give that a try.Student 2: Another technique I use is shadowing. I listen to a short recording, and as I listen, I try to imitate the speaker's pronunciation, intonation, and rhythm. It helps improve my listening and speaking skills at the same time.Student 1: That sounds like a fun exercise. I'll incorporate that into my practice sessions as well. Thanks for sharing these tips!Student 2: No problem. We're all in this together. With consistent practice and different strategies, I'm sure we'll all succeed. Good luck!。

Write the answer on the Answer Sheet. The largest category is probably linguistic. Let's look at this in some detail. Most students will have learnt English at school, but if they've already been to college or university in their own countries they'll have studied mostly in their own language except, perhaps, for reading some textbooks and journals in English. In other words, they'll have had41 to practise using English. When foreign learners first have the opportunity to speak to an English-speaking person they may 42 : they often have great difficulty in understanding! There are a number of reasons for this. I'll just mention three of them. Firstly, it seems to students that English people speak very quickly. Secondly, they speak with a 43 . Thirdly, different styles of speech are used in different situations, e.g. everyday spoken English, which is colloquial and idiomatic, is different from the English used for 44 . For all of these reasons students will have difficulty, mainly because they45 in listening to English people speaking English. Don't forget, by the way, that if students have difficulty in understanding English-speaking people, these people may also have difficulty in understanding the students! What can a student do then to overcome these difficulties? Well, obviously, he can benefit from attending English classes and if a language laboratory is available use it as much as possible. He should also 46 in English on the radio and TV. Perhaps most important of all, he should take every available opportunity to meet and speak with native English-speaking people. He should be aware, however, that English people are, by temperament, often reserved and may be unwilling to start a conversation. Nevertheless, if he has the courage to 47 , however difficult it may seem to be, most English people will respond. He will need patience and perseverance! In addition to these problems regarding listening and understanding, the student probably has difficulty in 48 . He has the ideas, he knows what to say (in his own language) but he doesn't know how to say it in English. The advice here will seem 49 but it's necessary. Firstly, he must simplify his language so that he can express himself reasonably clearly: for example, short sentences will be better than long ones. Secondly, he must try to think in English, not translate from his 50 . This'll only begin to take place when his use of English becomes automatic: using a language laboratory and listening to as much English as possible will help. In general, he should practise speaking as much as possible. He should also notice the kind of English, and its structure, that educated people use, and try to imitate it.VII. Full Dictation (30%) (一篇课内,一篇课外)Directions:You will be given two passages in which you will have to write down the whole script. The first one is a shorter passage while the second one is a standard full dictation passage. Each passage will be read to you FOUR TIMES. The first reading will be read at normal speed.
例如:如果题目Q21-23 SELECT 3 __ __的答案分别是A,B,C那么答案可以写成:21 A, 22 B, 23 C,也可以将三个字母的顺序调换,但是切记不能写成:21 A, B ,C!
例如:Russia(__),Chengdu(成都),Jack(杰克)。
例如:Mr Smith,Dr Wang,Miss Mary。

1An A Level Guide to the Listening Test 1Hey there, guys and gals! It's me, your friendly neighborhood test-taker, here to give you the low-down on the English A Level Listening Test 1. Now, I know what you're thinking – "Ugh, another boring test? No thanks!" But hear me out, because this one's actually kind of cool (well, as cool as a test can be, I guess).First things first, let's talk about what this test is all about. Basically, it's a way for the grown-ups to see how well you can understand English when you hear it spoken out loud. And let me tell you, that's a pretty important skill to have, especially if you ever want to travel to places where people speak English or watch movies and TV shows in English without needing subtitles. But don't worry, it's not like they're going to make you listen to some super boring lecture about the history of paperclips or anything like that (although, who knows, maybe paperclips have a more exciting backstory than we think!). Instead, you'll get tolisten to a bunch of different recordings, like conversations between people, announcements, and even some short stories or monologues. Now, I know what you're thinking – "But how am I supposed to understand all of that?" Well, that's where the cool part comes in. Before each recording, you'll get a little introduction that gives you a hint about what you're going to hear. It might tell you who the speakers are, where the conversation is taking place, or what the topic is going to be.And here's the really neat part: as you're listening, you'll have a question paper in front of you with a bunch of questions related to the recording. These questions will test your understanding of things like the main idea, specific details, the speaker's opinions or attitudes, and maybe even some vocabulary or expressions that are used. But don't worry, it's not like you have to write down everything you hear word-for-word (thank goodness, because that would be exhausting!). Instead, you'll have multiple choice questions, short answer questions, or questions where you have to fill in the blanks with the missing information. And here's a pro tip for you: pay close attention to the instructions for each section of the test. Sometimes, you'll haveto answer the questions while you're listening, and other times, you'll get a short break after the recording to go back and answer the questions. Either way, it's important to read the instructions carefully so you know what to expect. Now, I know what you're thinking – "But what if I don't understand something?" Well, that's why it's so important to listen carefully and use all the clues you can get from the context. If you're really stuck, you can always take an educated guess based on the information you do understand. And let's not forget the most important part: practice, practice, practice! The more you get used to listening to English and answering questions about what you hear, the easier it will become. Trust me, it's like anything else – the more you do it, the better you'll get.So, there you have it, guys and gals! The English A Level Listening Test 1 might sound a little intimidating at first, but with a little preparation and a positive attitude, you'll be acing it in no time. Just remember to listen carefully, pay attention to the context clues, and don't stress too much if you don't understand everything perfectly. After all, that's what practice is for!Good luck, my friends, and happy listening!篇2The Big A-Level English Listening Test 1 GuideHi there, young learners! I just took it last week, so it's fresh in my mind. Don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds!First off, you'll need to bring a couple pencils and your eraser. Make sure they're nice and sharp. You're not allowed to use a pen on this test. The nice ladies giving the test are really strict about that rule. When you get in the room, they'll have these big headphones for you to use. They look kind of silly, but they help you hear the recordings really clearly. Put them on and make sure they feel comfortable over your ears. There are four parts to the listening test, and they get harder as you go. Let me tell you about each one:Part 1In this part, you'll hear short conversations between two people. It could be friends, family members, teachers and students - anything really. After each conversation, there will be one multiple choice question about something that was said. The choices will be things like:A) Sarah is going to the park later.B) Sarah went to the park yesterday.C) Sarah likes going to the park. You just have to listen carefully to the conversation and choose the right answer based on what you heard. Easy peazy!Part 2This part is similar, but the conversations are a little longer this time. There will be two multiple choice questions after each one.The conversations could be about all kinds of everyday topics - making plans, buying something, talking about school or hobbies. So you'll need to concentrate hard to catch all the details. One tip is to read through the questions before you listen, so you know what kinds of things to focus on. That really helps me.Part 3Okay, this is where it starts getting trickier. In Part 3, you'll hear one longer conversation or monologue from just one person talking. It could be someone giving instructions, describing an event, telling a story - anything like that. The cool part is there are pictures in your test booklet that go along with the recording. After you listen, you have to answer 5-6 questions by filling in the blanks or putting boxes around the right pictures from your booklet. The questions get really specific here, so you can't zone out at all while listening.Part 4The final part is probably the hardest. You'll hear one longer recording again, like a talk, lecture, or radio show. There are no pictures this time, just the audio. For this part, you have to answer 7-8 questions. Some of them are multiple choice, but others are "short answer" where you have to briefly write out the correct response from what you heard.Since there's no visual help, you really have to concentrate hard on every detail in the recording. Don't let your mind wander at all! Those are the four parts in a nutshell. Here are some other tips that can help you do well:Get a good night's sleep before the test so you can stay focusedBring a snack like an energy bar to munch on if you get hungryAsk the test administrators if you can't hear the recordings clearlyDon't stress out if you mess up on a part - just refocus for the next oneAfter the test, treat yourself to your favorite food or activity!I know the listening test seems hard, but it's not that bad once you get into the groove of it. Just listen carefully, don't panic, and use those efficient ear muscles! You're going to do great. Remember, English is super useful and this test shows how skilled you are at understanding it. Soon you'll be a listening master!Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm rooting for you!Your friend,Emily篇4The English A Level Listening Test 1 - A Kid's GuideHey kids! Are you getting ready to take the English A Level Listening Test 1? Don't worry, I've got your back with this superdetailed guide. We'll go over everything you need to know to rock this test!First up, what even is the Listening Test? It's a big exam where you have to listen really carefully to recordings in English and answer questions about what you heard. Sounds kind of hard, right? But don't sweat it, I'm going to share all my tips and tricks. Before the Test DayOkay, so you'll want to get plenty of practice listening to English before the test. The more you get used to hearing it, the easier it will be on test day. Ask your parents if you can watch movies and shows in English at home. Or put on some English music and podcasts for kids. It's also a good idea to practice the skills you'll need. Listen to sample recordings and try answering multiple choice, fill in the blank, or short answer questions. Get those ear muscles flexed!Test Day TipsWhen it's finally test day, make sure you get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast. You'll need all the energy and brainpower you can get!As you're waiting for the test to start, try to stay relaxed. Do some deep breaths - in through the nose, out through the mouth. Shake out any jitters.Once the test begins, you'll hear instructions. Listen super carefully, because they'll tell you important stuff like how long the recordings are and what the questions are asking. Don't zone out during the instructions!During the RecordingsWhen each recording starts, quiet your mind and focus 100% on listening. Don't get distracted doodling or thinking about your lunch. Use any pics or info they give you about the recording topic to put it into context. As you're listening, try to pick out key details and words. Make a mental note or scratch down a few words that seem important. The questions will probably ask about names, places, reasons, examples, and main ideas. If you miss something, don't panic! You can't rewind, but try to stay calm and keep concentrated for anything you might be able to pick up.Question TimeAfter each recording, you'll get questions to answer about what you just heard. Go through them carefully, reading every possible answer choice. Don't rush! For multiple choice questions, use process of elimination to get rid of any wrong choices first. Then think back to key details from the recording to determine the right answer.Short answer questions are trickier since you have to write out the response yourself. Make sure you only use details straight from the recording to answer just that specific question. No guessing! For fill in the blank questions, you'll need to supply a missing word or two. Think carefully about vocabulary and grammar from the recording. What word makes the most sense?General StrategiesNo matter what, read all questions super slowly and carefully. Don't mix up what they're asking! Also, avoid making assumptions not directly supported by the recording.Manage your time wisely too. If you get stuck on a question, make your best guess and move ahead rather than wasting tons of time.If you have a few minutes at the end, quickly double check your work. Make sure your handwriting is neat and your answers are complete.Whew, that's a lot of tips! The most important thing is to stay focused and positive. You've got this! Walking into that test feeling confident, prepared, and ready to show off your excellent listening skills. So keep on practicing, believe in yourself, and good luck acing that English Listening exam!篇5A-Level English Listening Test 1 - The Ultimate Guide!Hi there, friends! You might also hear monologues wherejust one person is speaking, like a teacher giving instructions or someone giving a speech. No matter what, pay close attention because all the details are important! One of the toughest parts is understanding different accents and speaking styles. Check out audio books, podcasts, YouTube videos and movies in English as much as you can. The more you train your ears, the better you'll understand on test day.Learn common phrases and idioms. My name is Emily and I'm going to tell you all about the English A-Level Listening Test 1. It's a test you might have to take if you want to show how good you are at understanding spoken English. I just took it last week, so I know everything there is to know! The test has four sections and it's about 30 minutes long in total. You'll listen to different recordings and have to answer multiple choice questions about what you heard. Make sure you listen really carefully because you only get one chance to hear each recording.Section 1 is all about identifying basic information. You'll hear a man or woman saying some sentences, and then you have to choose the right picture from three options that matches what they said. Like if they say "There is a big red bus," you'd pick the picture with the big red bus.For Section 2, you'll hear a longer conversation between two people. It might be two friends talking, a teacher and student, or maybe even a phone call. You have to choose the right answer to questions about details like names, numbers, times and reasons that are mentioned. This section is a little trickier because there's more information to keep track of.Section 3 is probably the hardest part. You'll hear a longer monologue, which is like a speech or lecture. It will be about a topic you're familiar with from school, like science, history or literature. You have to show you understood the main ideas and important details by answering questions. My teacher told me to listen for signpost words that indicate main ideas, like "firstly," "moreover," and "in conclusion."Finally, there's Section 4 where you'll hear an interview, podcast or radio show. The questions are about opinions, attitudes and feelings expressed by the speakers. You have toinfer, or read between the lines, about their tone of voice and how they really feel about the topic.I was pretty nervous before the test, but I found some good strategies that really helped me:Read the questions first so you know what to listen for.Don't panic if you miss a word or two - try to piece together the overall meaning.Eliminate options you know are wrong to narrow it down.Use process of elimination if you're stuck on a question.Make educated guesses if you're really unsure - don't leave any blanks! The test proctors give specific instructions before each section, so listen carefully. They'll also give you time to read the questions before the recordings start. Use that time wisely! You're allowed to take notes as you listen, which can be super helpful. Just jot down key words, names, numbers - anything you think might be important for answering the questions. The note booklet is free to use however you'd like. One last tip - make sure you pack a few snacks and some water for energy! You'll want to stay fueled and hydrated to keep your brain sharp during the whole test. While the Listening Test isn't exactly fun, it's a great way to demonstrate your skills in understanding spoken English. Just go in prepared, stay focused, and believe in yourself. You'll do amazing!Let me know if you have any other questions. I'm happy to provide more tips and insights from my own experience. Thanks for reading, and good luck on your test!。

The English Listening Comprehension A Plan has been a valuable resource, providing me with the opportunity to enhance my listening skills and deepen my understanding of the language. In this essay, I will share my experiences and insights gained from working through the answers for the second semester of Grade 8.Listening comprehension is a crucial aspect of language learning, and the exercises in this plan have challenged me in ways that have fostered growth. Initially, I found it daunting to keep up with the pace of the audio materials, as the speakers often seemed to speak at lightning speed. However, through consistent practice and exposure, my ears gradually became attuned to the rhythms and intonations of the English language. One aspect that I found particularly helpful was the inclusion of various accents and dialects in the listening materials. This exposure not only prepared me for real-world situations where I might encounter diverse English speakers but also trained my ear to adapt to different pronunciations and speech patterns. It was a humbling experience to realize that mastering a language extends beyond mere vocabulary and grammar; it also involvesdeveloping an appreciation for the nuances and cultural contexts inherent in speech. The accompanying answer keys played a pivotal role in my learning process. While it was tempting to simply glance at the answers, I quickly realized that the true value lay in actively engaging with the materials. I found it beneficial to listen to the audio multiple times, jotting down notes and formulating my own responses before consulting the answer key. This approach not only reinforced my understanding but also encouraged me to think critically and develop my analytical skills. One aspect that I initially struggled with was the rapid-fire nature of some of the dialogues and conversations. However, as I progressed through the exercises, I learned to focus not only on the words but also on the context and nonverbal cues. This holistic approach allowed me to grasp the overall meaning and intention behind the spoken words, even when certain phrases or idioms were unfamiliar. The variety of topics covered in the listening materials was another highlight for me. From casual conversations to academic lectures, the exercises exposed me to a diverse range of content that broadened my vocabulary and challenged me to think beyond my comfort zone. I found myself captivated bydiscussions on topics such as science, history, and current events, which not only improved my language skills but also expanded my general knowledge.Collaborating with classmates and discussing our interpretations of the listening materials was another valuable aspect of this experience. Through these exchanges, I gained new perspectives and learned to appreciate the nuances of language interpretation. It was fascinating to see how different individuals could derive slightly different meanings from the same audio, highlighting the subjective nature of language and the importance of clear communication. As I reflect on my journey through the English Listening Comprehension A Plan for Grade 8 Semester 2, I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. The challenges I faced have undoubtedly strengthened my listening skills and enhanced my overall proficiency in the English language. However, more importantly, this experience has instilled in me a deeper appreciation for the beauty and complexity of language, and a desire to continue learning and growing.Looking ahead, I am excited to continue building upon the foundation laid by this plan. Whether it's engaging in real-life conversations, watching movies or TV shows, or exploring otherforms of multimedia, I am eager to immerse myself in the rich tapestry of the English language. With each new experience, I am confident that my listening comprehension abilities will continue to expand, enabling me to communicate more effectively and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. In conclusion, the English Listening Comprehension A Plan Answers for Grade 8 Semester 2 have been an invaluable resource in my language learning journey. Through consistent practice, exposure to diverse accents and topics, and collaborative discussions, I have developed a deeper appreciation for the nuances of the English language. While challenges remain, I am motivated to continue pushing the boundaries of my knowledge and embracing the ongoing process of language acquisition. As I embark on the next stage of my academic and personal journey, I carry with me the lessons and skills gained from this experience, which will undoubtedly serve as a solid foundation for future growth and success.篇3English Listening is Hard But I'm Determined to ImproveEnglish listening has always been one of the most challenging aspects of learning the language for me. Unlikereading, where you can go at your own pace and re-read sections as needed, listening requires rapidly processing and comprehending the speech as it happens in real-time. It's a vital skill though, as being able to understand spoken English is crucial for effective communication. When I started 8th grade, I knew my listening abilities needed improvement. I would often miss key details or get lost when trying to follow dialogues or lectures. The "English Listening Comprehension A Plan" for our textbook seemed daunting, with its dozens of listening exercises spanning different contexts like conversations, announcements, interviews and more. However, I was determined to use it as an opportunity to take my English listening to the next level. The first unit focused on making inferences while listening. Rather than just understanding the literal meaning, we had to read between the lines and grasp the implied intentions and feelings. It was tricky at first, but once I started actively listening for tone, stress and context clues, I improved a lot. The exercises where we had to infer someone's attitude or predict what might happen next based on the dialogues were excellent practice.Next up was understanding details in more complex passages. Longer form listenings like lectures or documentednarratives required sustained concentration to catch all the relevant facts, figures, sequences and examples. Taking good notes was essential, as was staying engaged instead of letting my mind wander. The strategies for identifying key words, summarizing main ideas and separating fact from opinion immensely helped my comprehension. Some of the most challenging listenings involved multiple accents and fast, overlapping speech such as group discussions or debates. Trying to pick out individual perspectives while the speech quickly went back and forth was like an intense workout for my ears and brain! I struggled initially, but started making progress by slowing down the playback speed and utilizing accent comprehension tips like focusing on consonant sounds and speech rhythms.Another unit covered understanding humor and idioms through listening examples. Grasping jokes, sarcasm, cultural references and figurative phrases is crucial for fully comprehending conversational English. I admit I was often stumped at first by listenings that contained a lot of slang or dry wit. However, the more I got exposed to authentic examples and discussed the meaning and context with my classmates, thebetter I got at recognizing humor cues and thinking more laterally about language.Towards the end of the book, the listenings became even more advanced, covering things like technical jargon for academic and professional contexts. Whether it was a biology lecture using tons of terminology or a panel discussion with heavy business and economics vocabulary, I had to learn strategies like deconstructing complex words from Greek and Latin roots to stay on top of the subject-specific language.Looking back on the "English Listening Comprehension A Plan" for Grade 8, I can definitely say it was immensely helpful for improving my skills. While frustrating at times, doing the diverse array of practice activities ultimately made me a much stronger and more versatile listener. I'm far more confident understanding everything from casual chit-chat to formal speeches and presentations.Of course, listening comprehension is an ability that requires continual growth and development. Even native English speakers can sometimes struggle with unfamiliar accents or overly technical/nuanced speech. As I move into high school, I'll continue honing my skills through avenues like listening topodcasts, watching English movies and shows, and having conversations with foreign speakers whenever possible.Mastering English listening comprehension has been one of my biggest challenges, but also one of my biggest achievements so far in my language learning journey. I have a long way to go still, but the "A Plan" gave me an awesome foundation through its comprehensive, level-appropriate practice activities and strategies. I'm grateful for how much it boosted my abilities and gave me the confidence to keep working on this vital skill. One day I'll be able to understand any spoken English, no matter how fast, accented or idiomatic, but for now I'll settle for being lightyears ahead of where I started in 8th grade!。

例“i don't _____ how i could possibly _____ my _____exam.” (录音原文:i don't see how i could possibly pass my history exam.)
例:“our club meets every other Wednesday.”
例:“if it hadn't rained, we would've played tennis.” a.we played only half a game. b.we took the train to tunis. c.we didn't play tennis because it rained. d.ten of us walked in the rain.
a.we meet once every two weeks. b.we met for an hour. c.they asked me and several others. d.they love to fl”与“our”发音相同;
A) The doctor is busy tomorrow.
B) The doctor won’t see her tomorrow.
C)The doctor is busy all day today.
D)The doctor will see her today.
例“he used to like skating but now he prefers skiing.”
例“he used to like skating but now he prefers skiing.”
W:I only have ten dollars,is it enough for three tickets? M: Well, you can buy three $ 2 tickets and three $ 3 tickets, whichever you like. W: I’ll like the cheaper seats, please. Q: How much money will the woman have after she buys the tickets?
如Is he honest?
听能的提高必须依大量 的听力实践训练来实现。 训练过程包括: ①听力速度; ②听力素质;
例“the program will be on at ten.”
例“ok, but hurry or we'll miss the bus.”
W:I’ve got to buy a new car. M: Really?
例“____ we'd called a taxi right away , we ____ been there on time.” (录音原文:if we'd called a taxi right away , we would have been there on time.)
Q: What does the woman mean?
A) She purchased a car recently.
B) She knew the car was in the lot.
C) She always forgets to clean her car.
可以看出,B)项中的knew是对原文 中new的近音干扰, C)项中的forget是对have got to的 近音干扰。
W: When can the doctor see me? M: He won’t be free until tomorrow. Q: What does the man mean?
c中的“several others”与“every other”发音相近;
