1.Let students read 3a again

2.Then point to the chart．Let students read the information in it．Make sure students understand the information in the chart .

The second period
Words:chop,wood,light,well,farm,anyway
Phrases:get back to sb
Listen 、read and change the verb to the past partciple.
Each student in a group will decide to be one of the people．The other students in the group will ask questions to find out which person in the chart he or she has decided to be．
Finish the table．
复习上节课所学知识。
拉近学生与老师的距离。
通过让学生找出作者及其祖父所要做的不同的家务，锻炼学生泛读课文，找出文章主要内容的能力。
通过让学生回答有关细节部分的问题，进一步锻炼了学生仔细精读课文的能力，同时，学生进一步理解了课文中较难的句子。
