Dear Helen,
This summer I went on a ten-day tour to Xishuangbanna.
Xishuangbanna is one of the most beautiful places in China.It lies in the south of Yunnan province with Laos to the southeast and Burma to the southwest. It covers an area of 19,125 square kilometers and has a population of 8,480,000.The environment here is friendly. It’s warm and humid all year long.Xishuangbanna is rich in plants and animals and is also called”a herb garden”.What impressed me the most was that people here splash water on each other. I was told that they do this to celebrate the new year. By the way, I bought some souvenirs and I’m going to give one to you as a gift.
