一、内容：《剑桥国际儿童英语1》包括12个单元，每个单元的主题都适合幼儿并可以提高他们的学习兴趣。
另外，还有两个关于圣诞节和复活节的补充单元，用来介绍英语国家的风俗。
三，单词量：350个（其中80个必记单词）
四，语法构成：在歌曲，歌谣，故事及行动故事中渗透日常语法知识（包括一般现在时态，正在进行时态），要求孩子理解。
五，基本构成：学生用书共55页，另有一些附页，附页是拼图及贴画的材料。
学生用书被设计成作业形式，通常用于课后复习。
内容包括：词汇，断句，故事，韵律诗，歌曲，歌谣和行动故事。
六，适合年级：幼儿园小班，中班，大班。

playway第一册活动用书的做法活动用书第39页和第40页1、让孩子沿着虚线剪下图画。
2、让孩子把MERRY CHRISTMAS和两边的图画都涂上颜色。
3、让孩子沿着中间的细线把卡片折起来将有灰色圆形的一面朝上。
4、帮助孩子把灰色圆形剪下来。
5、告诉孩子他们可以把圣诞卡送给家人或朋友。
活动用书第38页1、在黑板上画一个图形，如；一个圆。
然后再画三个图形，在这三个图形中有一个是圆。
如：○⊿□○，指着第一个图形，问；Which is the same？让一个孩子到前面来指出相对应的图形。
2、和孩子一起做活动用书中的第一个例子：说Look at the Christmas tree on the left.给孩子看一下这页书左边的图片，问；Which tree is the same? Tell me the number.让孩子售出答案。
从中引导正确的答案（4），让孩子把相对应的图片的外框涂上和左边相同的颜色。
3、让孩子两人一组单独完成其他的内容。
4、最后，用上面的方法检查他们的答案。
活动用书第37页1、给孩子几秒钟的时间看书中的迷宫图，然后说：Close your eyes。

2、让孩子打开书进行检查，从中引导出正确的句子；The mouse is on the beach，让孩子们合上书用同样的方法继续进行，并问他们所有动物所在地点。

给孩子指出：图片上的这些孩子的T恤上都有他们的名字的第一个大写字母。
2、播放活动用书录音带9，孩子在听后找出Maria、Tom、Sandra、Andy、Karen、Bob度假的地点，他们要把这些孩子的图片放在活动用书36页中正确的情境中，再听一遍录音进行检查，然后孩子们把图片粘好，教师提问：Where is Maria？等。

2、和孩子一起做活动用书中和第一个例子，说；Look at the picture on the left.给孩子看一下这页书和左边的一幅图画，问：Which is the same？让孩子说出答案，从中引导出正确的答案（3），让孩子把相对应的图画涂上和左边相同的颜色。

活动用书第33页和51页1、让孩子把附页51页中的动物图片剪下，两人一组做记忆游戏，每人要有一套图片，可以将图片打乱背面向上放在桌子上面，A先翻开一张图片，然后B从自己的图片中翻开一张，如果两张图片正好一样就把它们放到B赢的一边，然后继续，如果不一样的话，双方就把图片分别翻过去，这样就有B先翻了，游戏的最后，谁剩的图片多谁为胜者。
2、这个游戏可以重复几次，最后要孩子选择八张图片并把它们黏在活动用书33页的Bingo方格中，告诉孩子在同一张板上不要粘相同的图片。
3、让孩子拿出铅笔，先看第一个Bingo方格，慢慢的说出动物的名字，孩子听到和方格中的图片相对的词时，就把那张图片划掉。
把所有图片都划完的孩子为胜者。
4、第二个方格中的内容也这么做。
活动用书第32页Tapescript；Speaker: OK? 播放活动用书录音带17，让孩子根据录音汇总提示的数字，将这些数字依次连起来，必要时，录音可以播放两遍或三遍，孩子听后进行检查。
活动用书第31页1、让孩子取出红色、绿色、蓝色和黄色彩笔。
2、孩子们根据自己的选择把这页上半部分的动物涂上颜色，每种动物至少用一种颜色。
3、孩子们两人一组进行活动，他们不能互相看彼此的图画，A问B：How many red elephants are there? 如B回答；there。
A就在他们树上下面的方格中把三只大象涂上红色，A一直问到把所有的大象涂上颜色为止。
4、然后，轮到B。
他再问A的图中有多少只某种颜色的大象等等。
活动用书第30页Tapescript：Storyteller: The little caterpillar is asleep.It’s cold. There’s lots of snow.It’s raining.Aah, It’s warm. The caterpillar is happy.Oh, look at the wonderful butterfly! It’s blue, red and orange.1、在黑板上画一条毛毛虫并介绍这个词，同时说：It’s little。
请用食指和拇指并在一起来表示小。
让孩子重复几遍little caterpillar这个词组，然后，让他们拿出红色、蓝色、橙色彩笔。
2、让孩子看活动用书第30页里的图画，播放活动用书录音带16让孩子们根据录音给图画标序，再放两遍或三遍录音，让孩子仔细听并弄明白应在故事的最后一幅画中涂上什么颜色，先不要教butterfly这个词，在孩子们听过两三遍之后再引出这个词，让他们再听一遍并检查。
3、最后，孩子在教师的帮助下指着活动用书中的图画，并把故事重新组织起来。
活动用书第29页培养创造力1只给孩子十秒钟的时间去看这页下半部分的图画，让孩子合上书并说出所记忆的词汇。
2孩子打开书，让他们根据上半部分圆圈中所提供的线索，把下半部分的图分别画到上半部分圆圈汇总三个区域内，要求每个区域中的图属于同类。
3询问孩子的答案：Number1.Tell me the words。
以下就是答案。
Number one: clouds, rain, wind, sun, snow.Number two; spaghetti, pizza, chips, apples, cheese, cake, chicken. Number three; plane, car, ball, train, doll, puzzle.活动用书第28页Tapescript;Speaker 1：cap number one is orange.Speaker 3:cap number three is green.Speaker 4: cap number four is brown.1让孩子把下列颜色的彩笔准备好：orange, black, green and brown.2播放活动用书录音带15，让孩子们根据听到的指令把这页下半部分的帽子涂上颜色，然后再听一遍进行检查。
3相应的把这页上面的帽子也涂上颜色，如：所有标号是1的帽子都要涂上橙色。
4最后，让孩子们数出图片中帽子和动物的数量，并且在下面的方格中填入相应的数字。
5问孩子；how many dogs are there? How many orange caps are there? How many dogs are happy/sad?活动用书第27页培养创造力1每个孩子根据他们自己的选择把数字涂上颜色，每个数字只涂一种颜色。
2孩子两人一组进行活动，A把他对数字给B看十秒钟，A从1数到10然后合上书，这时B要试着记忆A书中的数字的颜色。
3A问B：what colour is number one? B要回答问题，如果回答正确，A就在方格下面的1旁边画一个对号，A要问B所有数字的颜色，A要计算出B说的正确的有多少数字，然后再活动下面的圆圈内写下适当的数字，两人互换角色。
4孩子们用他们选择的三种颜色，他们要把房子里的数字涂上颜色，每个数字用三种颜色中的一种，B要告诉A他们所选的颜色，A开始询问B：Is number six （blue）？B回答：Yes，it is/No，it isn’t。
如果A猜得正确的话，B就在方格里6的下面画一个对号，A继续询问其他数字的颜色，然后B计算A说的正确的有多少个，再在书上的圆圈内写出正确的数字，然后两人互换角色。
活动用书第26页和第51页（上半部分）教师问：（Maria）tell me what do you like/don’t like? 回答是I like……I don’t like……2跟孩子们说明他们要把这些食物的图片根据自己的爱好按顺序放在活动用书的第26页中，把最喜欢的放在数字1旁边，第二个选择放在数字2旁边。
3问孩子：What’s your number seven？让几个孩子回答，然后问：what’s your number six?当孩子对这项活动很熟悉时，教师可以和孩子练习几次下列这个问题；what’s your number（five）？让孩子两人一个组或分成小组来比较他们的选择。
4如果时间允许，应该让孩子们把他们每人最喜欢的食物画出一张图画并布置成专栏，教师要在专栏的顶端写下标题：OUR FAVOURITE FOODS.活动用书第25页Tapescript；Linda: I like spaghetti, cornflakes, pears, apples and milk.Benny: I like chips, bananas, apples, pizza and spaghetti.告诉孩子他们将在录音中听到Linda和Benny喜欢的和不喜欢的食物，让孩子们用红色蜡笔把Linda和Benny喜欢的食物旁边的心性涂上颜色或描出轮廓，播放两遍或三遍活动用书录音带13，如果需要的话，让孩子们再听一遍进行检查，然后问如下问题：What does Linda like？孩子们回答；Spaghetti, milk, apples, chips and cornflakes. 然后再问：what does Linda not like？等等。
