大学学费 (英语作文)

Given that people who have high degree are expected to be in a preponderant position to get a more satisfactory income in a complex workplace, a proposal that university students are supposed to pay all the tuition of tertiary education has become an issue of broad interest. Below is my perspective over this issue.

On the positive side, since that the cost of college education is extremely high ,paying all the cost by student themselves is in a position to compel the undergraduates to study more and more diligently. Those who pay the school fees without any aid from government or school experience a sense of financial pressure ,which enormously encourages them to make study in university worthwhile .Another huge benefit is that the teaching facilities and researching apparatuses are likely to be modified or improved, which in turn has a rewarding influence on college study. In the light of the facts mentioned ,students are obliged to pay the tuition if they attempt to acquire the school qualifications.

Nevertheless, there is some negative sides that we should as well attach attention to .In the first place ,the students from poor areas may find it difficult to pay such a lump sum money, A few reports have shown that a certain proportion of poor family students drop out of the college school on account of money shortage .But it is not their faults ,they have no choice after all. Consequently , the school will lose more and more disadvantaged but intelligent students .To worsen the situation ,the equality of study will suffer. In addition, from my point of view, the government cannot shirk from the responsibility to assist in the students to pay the tuition fees. Originally, laying the hopes of future development over students has decided to build is to cultivate the students' characteristic and equip them with know-how. In this sense, the government is liable to sponsor students' study by different forms of aid, such as sholarships , subsidies, allowances and students loans.

In view of the mentioned-above facts, one can naturally arrive the conclusion that a joint effort is required to be taken ,the students themselves and the government is obliged to pay the partial tuition ,respectively.
