Step 1设疑自探(5minutes)
T: Good morning. Nice to meet you .
Ss: Good morning. Nice to meet you, too .
T: Very good. Now class begins. Let’s go on learning Lesson 3.
I’ll ask a student to make a dialogue with me.
T: Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: My name is Li Ming. Ss: My name is Li Ping.
Then ask the students to practice with your partners.
Ask a student to sing the song and listen to the tape. Then sing the song again. “Nice to meet you .”
Then the teacher show some thing to the Ss and read after me the
new words: rubber pencil-box ruler book.
Then the teacher show numbers to the students and ask the students
to read after the teacher. Numbers: one two and three.
T: Look at my hand. A pen means one pen. What are they?
Ss: Two pen.
T: Wrong. How to express the right one? Today we are going to learn it.
Step 2解疑合探(15minutes)
T: First, let’s play a game. I say English , you put on the thing what I say just now, OK?
Ss: OK.
T: Rubber pencil-box ruler and book.
The students show them correctly.
T: Can you see how many rubbers in my hand?
Ss: Two.
T: One is odd number, but two is a plural number. We may say one pen, one
pencil-box, one rubber, one ruler and so on. We don’t say two pen, we may say two pens, two rulers, two rubbers and so on.
Then tell the students add the “s” behind the words.
The students practice it with the help of teacher.
