Module 1 BasketballMichael Jordan – Head and Shoulders Above the Rest!During the 1990s, Michael Jordan was probably the best-known athlete in the world. He was the top scorer in the NBA, and played for the Chicago Bulls from 1984 to 1993. He was named their most valued player five times. Wearing his famous number 23 shirt, Michael Jordan became the most successful basketball player in the history of the game.Jordan was born in New York and grew up in North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina for a year before leaving to join the Chicago Bulls. He finished his first season (1984-1985) as one of the top scorers in the league, with an average of 28.2 points per game.In 1987, Jordan became only the second player to score more than 3,000 points in a season. He was the top scorer in the NBA for seven consecutive seasons (1987-1993). During this time, the average number of points he scored was more than 30 points per game. With him, the Bulls won their first NBA championship in1991. During this successful period they won the title again in 1992 and 1993. Jordan was also in the United States Olympic Basketball Team, known as ―the Dream Team‖, which won the gold medal at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.Jordan surprised everyone when he retired before the 1993-1994 season, but he rejoined the Chicago Bulls and won three more championships with them from 1996 to 1998. he played again for the Washington Wizards before finally retiring from sport in 2003 at the age of 40. Millions of fans admire his athletic ability, motivation and confidence. They have fantastic stories to tell about Michael Jordan, such as the time when he rescued the Bulls from ending a game on a tie. He stepped to the line and made two free throws. Each time he threw the ball straight through the basket – and each time he had his eyes closed.Off the basketball court, Michael Jordan opened his own steak restaurant because he loves steak so much. He also found success as an actor in the film Space Jam alongside the famous cartoon character Bugs Bunny! There is only one word to describe the best player in the world – awesome!Wilt the Stilt – the Tower of Power!Michael Jordan was the second player to score more than 3,000points in a season – but the first was Wilt Chamberlain. Chamberlain was born in Philadelphia on 21st August 1936. He was one of the 11 children, the only one who was very tall. His father William worked in a shipyard and his mother Olivia was a cleaner. As a child, Chamberlain had various health problems. He had pneumonia and almost died when he was ten.Chamberlain is the only NBA player who averaged over 50 points per game for an entire season. At one point, Chamberlain was so much better than all the other players that they changed the rules of the game to try to stop him!The giant player joined the NBA‘s Philadelphia Warriors in the 1959-1960 season and was an immediate success. During 14 seasons with four different teams, Chamberlain was named the most valued player in the league four times. On 2nd March 1962, he scored 100 points in a single game – no one has ever done that since! The final score was Warriors 169 New York Knicks 147! He ended his career after five amazing seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. By the time he retired, Wilt held many NBA records: he scored 50 or more points 118 times and 60 or more points 32 times. Was Wilt Chamberlain better than Michael Jordan? Who knows? But there is no doubt that he deserves the title ―outstanding在20世纪90年代,迈克尔•乔丹大概是世界上最著名的运动员。

关于我最喜欢的体育电视节目的英语作文初三

关于我最喜欢的体育电视节目的英语作文初三

关于我最喜欢的体育电视节目的英语作文初三全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Sports TV ShowSports have always been a huge part of my life ever since I was a little kid. I come from an extremely athletic family - my dad was a college football star, my mom played professional tennis, and my older brother is already being scouted by major league baseball teams. With that kind of background, you can probably imagine how nuts my household gets when it comes to sports. We are always watching the big games together, analyzing players' performances, and debating strategies and referee calls. In a family this obsessed with athletics, having a favorite sports TV program is pretty much a requirement. For me, that program is definitely SportsCenter on ESPN.I have been watching SportsCenter religiously ever since I was eight years old. Back then, I just enjoyed watching all the amazing highlights of huge plays, hard hits, and miraculous finishes. The fun anchor personalities and their casual banter also made the show really entertaining. But as I've gotten older, I'vecome to appreciate SportsCenter on a much deeper level. These days, I tune in as much for the insightful analysis and inside reporting as I do for the actual highlight reels. What really sets SportsCenter apart is the sheer breadth of its sports coverage. Other TV sports shows tend to focus narrowly on just one or two major sports leagues. But SportsCenter covers it all - professional and college football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, golf, tennis, MMA, NASCAR, and so much more. On any given show, you'll get highlights, interviews, commentary and special features covering the biggest events in every major sport. It's a one-stop shop for serious sports fans who want to stay on top of absolutely everything happening in the world of athletics. The anchors and reporters on SportsCenter are the best in the business. Guys like Steve Levy, John Anderson, Linda Cohn, and Scott Van Pelt are so knowledgeable and clearly live and breathe sports. They don't just read scripted highlights, but provide smart, nuanced analysis informed by decades of experience covering games. When controversial plays or rules decisions come up, I really value hearing their expert take and perspective on the issues. SportsCenter's reporters also have unmatched access, getting inside locker rooms and behind thescenes to score exclusive interviews with players, coaches and team personnel. Their hard-hitting questioning and ability to break major stories keeps me glued to the screen.SportsCenter pioneered a lot of the production elements and on-air styles that have become standard for modern sports broadcasting. The innovative use of graphics, replays from different angles, integrating social media reactions, and creative feature segments have all set the bar for the industry. I love how the show is organized too, bouncing seamlessly between live cut-ins of major events still in progress, pregame and postgame analysis, interview segments, and features looking ahead to upcoming matchups. The pacing is perfect, serving up the latest news quickly but still diving deep on the biggest storylines of the day. While other shows sometimes struggle to balance analysis with entertainment value, SportsCenter hits that sweet spot masterfully. The anchors are true professionals who take the sports seriously, but also keep things loose with humor and casual chemistry. I laugh out loud at some of their random improvisational riffs, impressions or movie references. They are having such a genuinely good time together that it makes the show fun just to watch, even when they are breaking down arandom Wednesday night game between two last-place teams. It feels like you're just hanging out with a bunch of buddies talking about sports over beers.Of course, SportsCenter really shines brightest when covering the biggest events, like the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals or College Football Playoff. Those shows are absolute must-watch TV in my house, as we soak in every ounce ofpre-game, in-game and post-game coverage with breathless anticipation. From the insane open with adrenaline-pumping music and graphics to the live shots outside the arena with fans going crazy to the nonstop arguing and predicting from the analysts, those SportsCenter specials capture the drama and spectacle unlike anything else on TV. When a huge play goes down or an all-time great moment happens, you better believe I want to see that replayed from every conceivable angle with expert commentary.More than anything though, I love how SportsCenter makes me feel. It awakens the sports fan deep in my soul and feeds my insatiable craving for competition, narratives and athletic excellence on the grandest stages. Watching gets my heart pumping and adrenaline flowing just like when I step onto the field or court myself. At the same time, there's a comfort andfamiliarity to the show that feels like coming home after a long day. I've been a SportsCenter junkie for almost a decade already, but I know this habit will never get old. As long as SportsCenter is on the air, chronicling the games and moments that shape sports history, you can bet I'll be watching religiously well into adulthood. Slam dunks, home runs, Hail Marys...I want to see them all.篇2My Favorite Sports TV ProgramEver since I can remember, I've been a huge sports fan. From kicking around a soccer ball in the backyard to shooting hoops out front, there's just something about the thrill of competition and amazing athletic feats that gets my adrenaline pumping. That's probably why my absolute favorite television program is ESPN's SportsCenter. For the uninitiated, SportsCenter is the flagship program of the biggest sports network on the planet. It's essentially a daily highlights and news show that covers all the latest action from the worlds of professional and college sports. From high-flying dunks and jaw-dropping home runs to buzzer-beating shots and hard-hitting analysis, SportsCenter has it all. What I love most about the show is how it caters to sports junkies like myself. The program is essentially a buffet of the greatest moments from that day's sporting events - a veritable smorgasbord of slam dunks, hat tricks, and Hail Marys all wrapped up in a neat one-hour package. It's the perfect way to get my daily fix no matter how busy my schedule is with school, homework, and extracurriculars. But SportsCenter is more than just highlights. The show's anchors and analysts are the true stars of the show in my opinion. These are some of the most knowledgeable and passionate sports fans on the planet. They have a true love and appreciation for the games they're covering, which shines through in their excitable commentary and instantly memorable catchphrases.Who could forget the iconic "Whoop! There it is!" call from Stuart Scott whenever a player threw down a thunderous slam dunk? Or the classic "He...could...go...all...the...way!" from the great Chris Berman as he enthusiastically narrated an amazing touchdown run? These signature calls are virtually embedded into the collective consciousness of sports fans everywhere at this point. The analysts, like Jay Bilas for college basketball or Alex Rodriguez for baseball, also bring a ton of insight and expertisethat really enriches the viewing experience. As former players and coaches, they have an insider's perspective that goes far beyond just recapping box scores. Their in-depth breakdowns and nuanced analysis help viewers like me appreciate the finer points and strategy behind the games we love.Of course, no discussion of SportsCenter would be complete without mentioning the show's brilliant production and editing. The program's directors and editors are masters at their craft, seamlessly blending footage, graphics, music, and sound effects to capture all the electricity and drama of the games. The kinetic camera angles, perfectly timed replays, and pulsing soundtrack all come together to create an audiovisual experience that goes far beyond a simple highlights package.Whether it's the iconic Regent Street Polygrammic "Da...da-da-da...da-da-da" musical sting to introduce each segment or the "Boo-ya!" graphic that punctuates each monster dunk, the show just has an unmatched level of style and panache. It's almost like a high-energy sports music video at times. And let's not forget about the show's pop culture relevance. SportsCenter has become such an ingrained part of the sports fan experience that it has transcended the bounds of sports media. You'll find the show and its performers constantlyreferenced and satirized across movies, TV shows, commercials, you name it. When a show reaches that level of mainstream ubiquity, you know it's become a true cultural institution. At the end of the day though, what really keeps me coming back to SportsCenter day after day, year after year, is the sense of community and camaraderie it provides. As a kid growing up playing and living for sports, there's a real sense of belonging that comes from watching the same highlights, hearing the same catchphrases, and laughing at the same viral moments and bloopers as millions of other fans worldwide. It's almost like a modern, high-tech version of the age-old tradition of fans gathering to rehash the previous night's game. Except instead of huddling around a water cooler or flat-top grill, we're all tuning in to the same program and experiencing those magic moments together through the glow of our TV screens. So while plenty of other sports highlights shows have come and gone over the years, SportsCenter will always reign supreme in my book. It's more than just a program - it's a full-fledged experience that feeds my obsession and connects me to the wider community of sports fanatics worldwide. With its iconic presenters, brilliant production, and passion for the games we alllove, the "Worldwide Leader in Sports" has embodied the ultimate in sports entertainment for over 40 years and counting.Long live SportsCenter! This is sporting kudos at its finest.篇3My Favorite Sports Television ProgramSports have always been an integral part of my life ever since I was a young kid. Whether it was playing soccer with my friends in the park or watching the big games on TV with my dad, I've had a passion for athletics from an early age. Of all the sports shows I've seen over the years, one program stands out as my absolute favorite - ESPN's award-winning documentary series "30 for 30."For those unfamiliar with it, "30 for 30" is a collection of independent films that explore important stories, people, and events from the world of sports. What makes this series so special is the incredible depth, quality, and creativity that the filmmakers bring to each documentary. These aren't just dry retellings of sports history - they are cinematic masterpieces that examine the human dramas and social impacts behind some of the biggest sporting moments and controversies.I still vividly remember the first "30 for 30" film I ever watched - it was called "The Two Escobars" and it chronicled the bizarre intersections between drug cartels, soccer, and murder in 1990s Colombia. From the opening scene, I was completely hooked by the gripping storytelling, gritty realism, and skillful blending of sports footage with dramatic recreations. What could have been a simple retrospective on Colombian soccer became a profound exploration of the country's struggles with violence, corruption, and heroism against the backdrop of the 1994 FIFA World Cup.That documentary opened my eyes to the power of "30 for 30" to transcend sports and shine a light on larger cultural issues. Since then, I've been riveted by films that have covered such diverse topics as the infamous "Malice at the Palace" brawl, the transgender journey of former NCAA player Renee Richards, the catch wrestled from the jaws of racial segregation in Birmingham, and the controversial XFL football league founded by WWE magnate Vince McMahon. No matter the subject, these films always manage to be insightful, provocative, and endlessly entertaining. What really sets "30 for 30" apart is the creative freedom given to each director to tell their story in a unique cinematicstyle. Some documentaries unfold like hard-hitting investigative journeys, while others have the quirky flair of independent films. The series has attracted some of the most talented filmmakers and actors in Hollywood, resulting in incredibly high production values that make you forget you're watching a sports documentary at times. While the budgets may be lower than big theatrical releases, the passion and artistry behind these projects is truly inspiring. My personal favorite "30 for 30" is the 2010 film "Once Brothers" which shines a light on the complicated relationship between Vlade Divac and Drazen Petrovic - two basketball stars who went from brothers-in-arms at the 1988 Olympics to bitter enemies divided by the Yugoslav Wars. The raw emotion captured through powerful interviews and never-before-seen footage is simply breathtaking. I'll never forget the haunting scene of Divac breaking down in tears while visiting Petrovic's grave. It's a poignant reminder that while sports can unite nations, political conflicts have the power to tear even the closest friendships apart.Beyond just being extraordinary films, each "30 for 30" leaves me with new insights and perspectives that stay with me long after the credits roll. I've learned invaluable lessons aboutdetermination, integrity, sacrifice, and the unifying power of sports to bring people together across cultural divides. At their core, these documentaries celebrate the resilience of the human spirit against long odds and adversity. While other sports shows tend to focus narrowly on athlete performances and championship chases, "30 for 30" transcends the games themselves to examine the larger human stories behind them. It makes me appreciate sports as a reflection of society - a arena where issues of race, gender, politics and human rights play out on the world's biggest stage. As a passionate sports fan who also loves compelling storytelling, "30 for 30" is the perfect blend of in-depth sports analysis and top-notch filmmaking. I always walk away from each film feeling enriched and energized to discover more incredible sports narratives waiting to be told. This series has been an integral part of expanding my horizons and gaining a deeper understanding of not just sports history, but world history as well.I have no doubt that "30 for 30" will go down as one of the crowning achievements in sports broadcasting and documentary filmmaking. Its legacy of elevating sports beyond just games and giving a powerful voice to the human stories behind them issimply unmatched. Whenever a new film in the series is announced, I circle the release date like a kid awaiting a holiday because I know I'm in for something extraordinary. While sports themselves may be "just games" to some, "30 for 30" reminds us all that they are so much more - they are dramatic tapestries woven through the cultural fabric of the human experience.。

are simple. We establish that Leibniz dual algebras gives us another examples of algebras with identity (3). These algebras are not commutative, but they are right-commutative. So, in general the class of Tortken algebras does not coincide with the class of Novikov-Jordan algebras. One can consider left Tortken identity (a ⋆ b) ⋆ (c ⋆ d) − (c ⋆ b) ⋆ (a ⋆ d) = −a ⋆ (b, c, d) + c ⋆ (b, a, d). ¯), where a¯ If (A, ⋆) is right Tortken, then (A, ⋆ ⋆b = b⋆a is left Tortken. For commutative Tortken algebras, like Novikov-Jordan algebras, left and right Tortken identities are coincide. In general they are different identities. We prove that algebras with identity (3) and with a unit is associative and commutative. In [8], [9], [13], [14], [15] algebras with identity of degree 3 and 4 are classified. Their classification was done under the condition that algebras have unit. Therefore, the class of algebras with identity (3) is not in their list. Let [a, b, c] = (a, b, c) − (a, c, b) be a deviation of associators. In [19] is proved that many known classes of algebras (Lie, Jordan, rightsymmetric algebras, LT-algebras) are satisfy the identity [a ∗ b, c, d] = a ∗ [b, c, d] + [a, c, d] ∗ b. Novikov-Jordan algebras Os+ (α, β ) do not satisfy this identity. Therefore, algebras with identity (3) are not in this class. Identities of right-symmetric algebras was also studied in [4]. 2. Tortken identity and some consequences of degree 4 Let A be an algebra over the field K of characteristic p ≥ 0 and f = f (t1 , . . . , tk ) be some non-associative polynomial in variables t1 , . . . , tk . We say that f = 0 or f (a1 , . . . , ak ) = 0 is identity on A, if f (a1 , . . . , ak ) = 0 for any substitution ti := ai ∈ A. Let A be an algebra A with multiplication A×A → A, (a, b) → a⋆b. Recall that its element e ∈ A is called a left unit, if e ⋆ a = a, for any a ∈ A. Similarly, e is called a right unit, if a ⋆ e = a, for any a ∈ A. Left and right unit is called unit. Theorem 2.1. Let A be an algebra with the identity (3) . i) If A has right unit, then A satisfies the following identity a ⋆ (b ⋆ c + c ⋆ b) = 2(a ⋆ b) ⋆ c. ii) If A has left unit, then A is associative and commutative. (4)
1. Introduction Let (A, ◦) be some algebra with multiplication A × A → A, (a, b) → a ◦ b. One can consider an algebra A+ = (A, { , }) under Jordan product {a, b} = a ◦ b + b ◦ a. The algebra A+ satisfies the commutativity identity {a, b} = {b, a}. Let V be some variety of algebras. Denote by V + a variety generated by algebras A+ , where A ∈ V . One can ask about a minimal identity of minimal degree for V + that does not follow from the commutativity identity. If such identity exists call it Jordan identity. Let Ass be a class of associative algebras. Well known, that Jordan identity for Ass+ is the following identity of degree 4 {{a, b}, {c, d}} + {{a, c}, {d, b}} + {{a, d}, {b, c}} −{{b, c}, a}, d}} − {{c, d}, a}, b}} − {{d, b}, a}, c} = 0. An algebra (A, ◦) with identity a ◦ (b ◦ c) − (a ◦ b) ◦ c = a ◦ (c ◦ b) − (a ◦ c) ◦ b is called right-symmetric. This identity can be written in terms of associators (a, b, c) = a ◦ (b ◦ c) −(a ◦ b) ◦ c, as follows (a, b, c) = (a, c, b). That is the reason why this identity is called right-symmetric. Rightsymmetric algebras was introduced around 1960’s in [20], [10], [6]. A right-symmetric algebra A is called (right) Novikov [1], [16], if the following left-commutativity identity is true a ◦ (b ◦ c) = b ◦ (a ◦ c).

Abstract. Algebras with identity (a⋆b) ⋆ (c⋆d) − (a⋆d) ⋆ (c⋆b) = (a, b, c) ⋆d − (a, d, c) ⋆b are studied. Novikov algebras under Jordan multiplication and Leibniz dual algebras satisfy this identity. If algebra with a such identity has unit, then it is associative and commutative.
