定语从句定语从句起了形容词的作用,在句中修饰一个名词或代词。

被修饰的词叫做先行词,引导定语从句的词叫关系词,他的作用一是放在先行词与定语从句中间起了连接作用,二是在从句中担当一个成分,并与先行词保持数的一致。

一、定语从句重点备考考点1:关系代词和关系副词在定语从句中的运用以及that和which的区别使用。

考点2:定语从句与强调句和同位语从句的区别。

考点3:“介词+关系代词”与关系词whose和which作定语的区别。

如:whose book =the book of whom等;关系副词when,where,why和“介词+which”之间的关系。

考点4:关系副词、关系代词的区别运用。

近几年来,关系词where引导的不表示具体真实地点的定语从句是常考的热点,要着重复习。

二、一眼看穿定语从句(1)定语从句中缺一成分,缺的这个成分就是先行词。

(2)在所有的从句中,只有定语从句中缺成分。

如果从句中却成分,那一定是定语从句。

(3)定语从句和主句之间没有连词,但是有关系词,相当于连词,起连词的作用。

也就是说,在两个句子之间存在连词的话,就一定不是定语从句。

做题独家秘笈:不用专门去背什么时候只能用that不能用which,什么时候又只能用which 不能用that。

做题时确定是that和which二选一之时,只要空格前没有“逗号”和“介词”那就选填that。

01 不定式的概念不定式是非谓语动词的一种,由to+do构成,但在有些情况下to可以省略。

不定式可以做主、宾、表、定、状、宾补等句子成分。

如:主语To make the best TV sets is his goal.宾语He wants to make the best TV sets.表语His goal is to make the best TV sets.定语He finally finds a goal to live for.状语He comes here to make TV sets.宾语补足语I ask him to make TV sets here.02 不定式的结构不定式的常见形式如下:一般式(主动/被动)to do/to be done进行式(主动/被动)to be doing/无完成式(主动/被动)to have done/to have been done不定式的否定一律在to之前加not03 不带to的不定式有些动词后面可以接sb+do(不带to的不定式),主要包括:一感feel二听hear,listen to三让make, have, let四看see, watch, notice, observe注意:一般情况下,上述动词还可以接动名词doing,意思和do不同。

接do表示全过程;接doing强调的是进行中。

【最新整理,下载后即可编辑】定语从句(一)基本概念1.由一个句子作定语,修饰句中一个名词或代词,有时也可以修饰整个句子或句中的部分内容,这样的从句就是定语从句,被其修饰的名词或代词叫先行词。

2.关系词分为两大类,即关系代词和关系副词,其作用一是引出一个定语从句,二是代替其所修饰的先行词,三是在句中充当某个句子成分。

关系词的分类和基本用法本部分的内容比较复杂,为便于考生一目了然,我们试图用表格的形式呈现给考生。

1.that与which, who, whom的用法区别当关系代词作介词宾语,且该介词不是和从句的谓语动词构成固定短语时,介词可以提前,这样就出现“介词+关系代词”。

先行词指物,用“介词+which/whose”,指人则用“介词+whom/whose”, 且两个关系代词均不能省略。

介词的选择要遵循两个原则:定语从句一般紧接被它所修饰的先行词;但有时候它和先行词之间有可能插入其他成分,使它与先行词分隔开来,这种定语从句叫作被分隔的定语从句,在阅读文章时会经常遇到这种情况,在阅读是要注意识别先行词的修饰对象。

高考英语语法知识讲解一、同位语和插入语(1)同位语(Appositive):1)定义对名词或代词作进一步的解释,与前面的名词或代词指代同一事物,在句中充当相同的语法成分,在语法上处于同一地位,故称为同位语。

它可以是单词、短语或从句。

5.宾补与词类
宾补由形容词、名词、介词短语、不定式或分词构成。

通常位于宾语之后,对宾语的意思进行补充说明。

宾语和补足语一起构成复合宾语。

如:1) We recommand Bob mornitor of our class.(名词词组作宾补)
2) His effort made their work easier .(形容词作宾补)
3) We often find him sleeping all day.(现在分词短语作宾补)
4) Don’t make the workers work day and night . (不带to的不定式作宾补)
5) The mother doesn’t want her son in danger .(介词短语作宾补)
:宾语和补足语之间有逻辑上的主谓关系。

最为明显的例子就是2)、3)、4)“他们的工作轻松”、“他在睡觉”、“工人们干活”。

6.定语
定语由名词所有格、形容词、形容词性物主代词、不定代词、数词、介词短语、副词、不定式、分词、定语从句等构成。

对名词或代词起修饰、限定作用。

如:1) Yuan Long Ping’s hobby is violin.(名词所有格作前置定语)
2) His mother is a teather.(形容词性物主代词前置)
3) she is a beautiful girl.(形容词作前置定语)
4) I bought two books yesterday .(数词作前置定语)
5) The notice on the blackboard is very important.(介词短语作后置定语)
