去厦门旅游英语作文初一
Last summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Xiamen, a beautiful seaside city in China. I had been looking forward to this trip for a long time, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The moment I arrived, I was captivated by its stunning skyline and the fresh sea breeze.
One of the first places we visited was Gulangyu Island. We took a ferry to get there, and the ride was exciting as we could see the vast ocean and the city’s coastline. Upon arriving at the island, I was amazed by the charming colonial architecture and the lush greenery everywhere. The island is famous for its music, so as we walked around, we could hear beautiful melodies from various street performers.
On Gulangyu Island, we explored a few attractions, including the Sunlight Rock. Climbing to the top was a bit challenging but totally worth it. The view from the top was
breathtaking! I could see the entire island, the blue ocean, and the distant skyline of Xiamen. It felt like I was on top
of the world, surrounded by beauty.
Another highlight of my trip was trying the local food. I tasted delicious dishes like peanut soup, oyster omelet, and fried spring rolls. The flavors were unique and satisfying. I also loved visiting the local markets, where I could buy souvenirs and snacks to enjoy later.
Xiamen is also known for its beautiful beaches. One day, my family and I visited Huandao Road, where we spent hours relaxing on the sandy beach and playing in the waves. The sunset at the beach was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. The sky turned into shades of orange and pink, reflecting on the calm water. It was a magical moment that I will cherish forever.
During my trip, I also learned about the rich history and culture of Xiamen. We visited the Nanputuo Temple, which is
an important Buddhist temple. The atmosphere was peaceful, and I felt a sense of serenity as I walked around the temple grounds.
Overall, my trip to Xiamen was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, beauty, and delicious food.
I explored stunning sights, enjoyed the local culture, and made memories with my family. I hope to visit Xiamen again someday to experience its charm once more.。
