The Most Impressive School Activity
Time flies and sees the end of my high school life. The gold old memories of the past three years flash back to my mind, of which the military training impressed me most.
The first summer vacation witnessed our freshmen’s military training, running for a week. We exposed ourselves to a great variety of activities, such as queue trainings, a march with a distance of 15 km, an emergency evacuation drill, and the like, immersing ourselves in the joy of growth in sweat. Even more impressive was our performance with real guns.
With a mix of bitterness and happiness, the unforgettable experience touched me a lot, and taught me that only by saying no to giving up can I not fail but to succeed. (124 words)

Dear Jack,
I am writing to share with you a series of activities on disaster prevention and mitigation carried out by our school.
It was through the speech at the flag-raising ceremony that all teachers and students learnt the self-rescue and self-protection measures and skills in the event of earthquake, fire and other major disasters. The emergency evacuation drill is definitely the highlight. An unexpected fire errupted in the teaching building and under the guidance of teachers, students bent down, covering their mouths and noses with wet towels, left the classroom and ran to the playground. In the meanwhile, the whole school also learnt how to use fire extinguishers, and some students even exposed themselves to fire fighting pracitce.
