英语口语演讲我是一名英语教师
英语口语演讲我是一名英语教师Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, it’s a great honor to speak here: I am an English teacher.People often say: Teacher is the engineer of human spirit. Last September, I became a teacher. How to bee areal teacher? This is the first difficulty that I e acrossin my career. At first, I felt so good and fun to stay with so many lovely students, then I integrated with them, and soon, the problem came out. If a teacher can’t set up her dignity in front of the students, it will make the class teaching more difficult. In my lessons, the students often kept on talking, acting, and asking questions. What shouldI do? I can’t get along with them like this any more. I must be strict with them. Pay more attention to what should be praised, what should be criticized. Any carelessness is not permitted. At last, the class discipline became better.Nowadays, the importance of learning English is obvious. The world bees globalization and unify. The association of each country is closer and closer. People call the earth as a global village. English is the first current language in the international world. The munication of politics, economy and culture is upon English. As we know, we will take a beating if we lay behind. How to catch up with the world? That is, study English well to gain the first hand data. The entrance of WTO, the Olympic Games which will beheld in xx, shows that we must learn English well asquickly as possible. Forcing study won’t stay in the heart, feeding knowledge into the br ain won’t get a good result, and high mark isn’t our teaching goal. To get a satisfied effect, we should make the students learn on their own initiative. How to make them feel interested in studying English? I think the key point is the teaching design. It must be vivid and vigorous. We can change our studycontents into games, performances, petitions and so on. Let them believe English is easy and funny. As the step of history is advancing, the demand of English teaching is changeable. The junior students are not what we know as before. They have a lot of knowledge, and are good at bining English with other subjects, such as history, geography, physics, chemistry and so on. Their English level is higher than what we thought. Many of them started learning English in their primary school. SoEnglish teacher should pursue advanced studies constantly, and master the latest teaching materials and methods tomeet today’s demands.I feel very happy to be an English teacher. I will domy best to teach English well with my knowledge, mypatience and my enthusiasm. Make Chinese speak English better, and show their ability and talent in the world stage. I am proud to tell you: I am an English teacher.。

英语教师口语表达材料I know what my students needNow I have been a teacher for five years. I know what my students need clearly.Maybe they want to have a lot, but there is the most need of the success for them.Success is very helpful for students to learn English. So I often give them the opportunity to make them successful.Students prefer to express themselves, so I like to give students opportunities for self-expression. For example, in a consolidation phase, I always allow students to take turns reading, as "a teacher". All the students are fond of being a teacher, even some are not good in English. Because they can lead others to read and feel the joy of success. On the other hand, I often ask students to perform in front of the classroom. When I review the dialogues in the textbook, I will ask some to act out. At this time, Many students raise their hands and hope me give them a chance. They can play the dialogues v ery well like “At a snack bar”, and so on. On the whole, students enjoy these activities. More importantly, they can gain a sense of accomplishment. But if they fail in the activities, they’ll be very sad and expressed. So I always choose suitable activities for them. I think it’s a good way to make them successful by activities. I hope every teacher can do it. Of course, the students will be happy to have a sense of the success. I think it’s what m y students’ need most.I know how to make them successfulI know success is very helpful for students to learn English. So I often give them the opportunity to make them successful.Students prefer to express themselves, so I like to give students opportunities for self-expression. I think it’s a good way to make them successful by activities. I hope every teacher can do it.They do and then they learnGroup work takes an important part in English class. It depends on the activity. I usually teach the students to do things by themselves through the activity. Then they can learn a lot. When they’re divided into small groups, I can join each group for a while, but only as a participant not as a leader or inspector. The purpose is to let the students solve some problems they come cross by their own, this not only trains their ability of learning and using language, but also can improve their communicative competence. For example,do a survey. When the students learned Unit3 “Hobbies” from 5B,in order to give students to use these key sentences and "hobbies" words flexibly, I have devised a survey for students to start investigations. Such a s “Do you have any hobbies?Yes,I do.I like …” In the course of discussion, they must solve all questions by themselves. After discussion, each group choose one student to report to the class how they have discussed or what the problem they didn’t solve . At the end of the class, I always offer my ideas about the problems and give a short comment on their work. Usually great encouragement should be given to the students and make them full of confidence in themselves. In short, they can learn a lot by themselves through group learning. So they do and then they learn. The first English class I taughtI’m so lucky that I have got this job I had been looking for, and I do love my job now, love my pupils and my education life. We all know that life at school is changeable, because the children are growing up everyday. From last September up to now, I can’t remember how many English lessons I have taught. Let me see, perhaps 280 lessons, which one was the first English class I taught? I shall never forget. The first lesson was for the students in Grade Three. They’re the beginners of English learners. So the most important thing for me is to arouse their interests in learning English. Before the class, I prepared a lot of things for my first English class. For example, the teaching plan, the teaching tools, power point and the teaching cards. All these prepared were for my teaching and in building a practical environment. I tried to use “the situational teaching method”. But I also should study the teaching mater ials further. In that Unit, the key vocabularies are: “pig, dog, horse, cat and duck”. The main sentence patterns are: “What’s this/ that? It’s a….” I think all the students like animals, so I prepared many games to arouse their interests and sympathy. At the beginning of the class, I took the students into a zoo, using a large picture. There are so many animals, but each of them was covered partly. So first I let the students guess “what’s this?” And if someone was right, I would give him a little star or a lovely present. Then they showed lotsof interests in it. But later the students became more noisy in the class. They not only wanted to guess correctly, but also wanted to win the little star. However, at that time, I suddenly remembered Miss Wang. Sh e had told me: “you must use the prize for each group so it can help you control the class.” So I gave each group a rectangle and told them that a quiet circumstance was required and awarded. Then I would give them another one, and to see which group ranked the first. After that, even if I showed a lot of interesting cards or other things to them, I can control the class easily. Because a good learning environment is the base of a good lesson.35 minutes passed, my first 35 minutes, my first English class, ended with the bell ring, I think I won. Each one has many “his first time”. But in my life, the first English class was the most important one. I should never forget it. After that I consider myself not only a teacher, but also a learner. First, I must prepare all I will teach. Secondly, I must find ways of helping my students to understand their assignments. Thirdly, I must then try to understand and respond in a helpful way to my students’ ideas. Fourthly, I must force myself to be creative, because if I deliver a boring lesson, my students will feel bored. And to be creative, I must learn more.Thank you very much for your attention. How to make my class active and interactiveActually , when I stepped to the 3-foot platform to be an English teacher , I tried my best to make my students practice the patterns time after time , I hoped that they would get high marks in test .However , my students didn't care about it , they showed less attention to my class.Until one day, a student had a talk with me. He said : ”I’m learning many things that are boring, useless and not valuable. So I’m tired of studying. Miss Ma , can you understand me? ”At that time, I felt my class was lack of active and interactive patterns. Then I gradually found that make class active and interactive is from active learning to interactive teaching.First , we should be energetic and encouraging .Because our passion can make class want to learn English, they will act with nature and show more potential abilities. Also,we should praise in various ways. In our class we often say “good, very good”, the simple word not only make them active in class, but also foster their sense of achievement in future learing..Secondly, we should make class meaningful and creative. In class, we can use the short and simple sentence, use the body language to communicate with students .We should give students clear purpose and offer them opportunities to try, to create and allow them to fail. Make sure the class relaxing and interactive, be familiar to the feeling of English language.Coming up next is organizing games and activities .You know, activity is the key part of class.Including paired work, competitions, role play, guessing game, TPR activities, and so on. Whatever I use , I should often change the way. From students and I; student and student ;to students and students. Make all class. The last but not the least is helping the class feel comfortable with asking me questions and answering my questions. To do this, do not criticize any questions from students .This will insure that students will continue to ask questions. Do give more chance to students ask and answer , make students and ourselves learn interactively. So after class students can listen, read, write, think without force and pressure, keeping interests and motivation .This is my talk from my experience, sharing with you today . Thank you for your attention! Can you read the students’ faces? Can you read the students’ faces? Of course, I can. As a teacher, it’s very important to read the students’ faces. If they look excited and active, they must be fond of the class. But they look black and dull, they may be unwilling to have the class. In my class, I always observe all the students’ faces , especially poor students.I have a student. He is a boy. But he’s very shy. His name is Xia Yangqing. In the past, he was afraid of English and failed in talking. When he talked English with others, he would feel nervous. He always kept silent in class. Many students said Xia Yangqing was a bad boy. They didn’t want to play with him. I know he must be very sad. So I often had the sense to call him to answer some easy questions in class. If he answered well, I would praise him at once. Gradually, he had a little confidence. I always tel l him:”Yangqing, well done! I believe you! You’re the best!” Since then he changed .He began to enjoy talking. Now he finds it’s easy to talk . He has more confidence in English. He doesn’t feel nervous in class no longer. He succeeds. I’m very happy to see his growth. If one student has some trouble in learning English, he must be expressed in his face. So let’s read the students’ face at any moment. Maybe a smiling face or a sentence from our teachers will change the child's life.Be a good observer in the classroomI think one of the most basic requirements in a good lesson is to pay attention to each student. So we must observe them at any moment in the classroom. Of course,to observe the students’ faces is a important step.If they look excited and active, they must be fond of the class. But they look blankand dull, they may be unwilling to have the class. In my class,I always observe all the students’ faces , especially poor students.I have a student. He is a boy.But he’s very shy.His name is Xia Yang qing.In the past,he was afraid of English and failed in talking. When he talked English with others ,he would feel nervous. He always keeped silent in class. Gradually,he had a little confidence.I always tell him:”Yangqing, well done! I believe you! You’re the best!”Since then he changed .He began to enjoy talking. Now he finds it’s easy to talk . He has more confidence in English. He doesn’t feel nervous in class no longer. He succeeds .I’m very happy to see his growth. If one student has some trouble in learning English,he must be expressed in his face. So let’s read the students’ face at any moment.Maybe a smiling face or a sentence from our teachers will change the child's lifeHow to assess the students in classI think the teacher should be fair to the students in class. But different students have different characteristic. If you try to use the same way to assess different students, it may lead to failure. So I have different requirements for different students.I’d like to aseess the students with a general principle : more praise. The purpose of our assessment is to help and encourage students to develop their English level, build up their self-confidence, raise their interest, learn to self-reflect.So praise is a good way. It’s powerful. When the students are praised, they must be excited and pleasant. Usually, teachers can apply some brief sentences to the course of praise such as “Wonderful.” “Good.” “Excellent.” “Welldone.” and “You are a clever boy.” I think it’s more effective for students to use a accurate language to assess them.I have a student. He’s in Grade Three . He often does disruptive behaviors in class regardless of my criticism. But one day, I praised the boy for his god gesture at the very moment he sat very properly when the class began. I said: “Boys and girls, look at Xia Yangqing, how properly he is sitting there…”Of course,I use body language to help them understand. Realizing that he was the example of the others, the boy kept his good gesture throughout the class. This is a successful and creative application of praise. In short, the students care a lot about how the teachers assess them .I hope my words can somehow help everybody to assess students。

教师演讲稿英语口语素材
Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is my great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is deeply close to my heart – the power of education. Education is not just a tool for personal growth; it is the cornerstone of societal development, the key to unlocking the potential of every individual, and the driving force behind a brighter future.First and foremost, let us acknowledge the fundamental role that education plays in shaping the character and mindset of an individual. Education is not merely about acquiring knowledge; it is about nurturing critical thinking, fostering creativity, and instilling moral values. It is through education that we learn to question, to analyze, and to appreciate the world around us.Imagine a world where every child has access to quality education. In such a world, we would see a surge of innovation and creativity, as young minds are allowed to explore and express themselves freely. We would witness a generation that is not only well-informed but also empathetic, compassionate, and ready to take on the challenges of the future. However, we do not live in that world. Instead, we find ourselves in a landscape where educational disparities are a stark reality. Many children are denied the opportunity to learn, to dream, and to aspirefor a better life. This inequality is a stain on our collective conscience, and it is our responsibility to address it.As educators, we are the architects of this future. We are the ones who hold the key to unlocking the potential of every child. We have the power to transform lives, to inspire hope, and to ignite the spark of curiosity that lies within each student.Let us consider the following thoughts:1. Education as a Catalyst for Change: Education has the power to transform societies. It is the driving force behind economic progress, social justice, and political stability. By empowering individualsthrough education, we create a ripple effect that can lead to a more equitable and sustainable world.2. The Role of Teachers: Teachers are not just educators; they are mentors, guides, and role models. We have the unique privilege ofshaping the future by nurturing the minds of our students. It is our responsibility to inspire, to motivate, and to prepare them for the challenges that lie ahead.3. Equity in Education: We must strive to ensure that every child has access to quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances. This means addressing the root causes of educational disparities, such as poverty, discrimination, and lack of resources.4. Technology and Education: The integration of technology in education can revolutionize the way we teach and learn. It can bridge the gap between different communities, provide personalized learning experiences, and make education more accessible to all.5. Global Citizenship: Education should not be limited to theacquisition of knowledge; it should also instill a sense of global citizenship. Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone. It is a great pleasure tostand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is very close to my heart: the importance of teacher English oral proficiency. As educators, we are the architects of young minds, shaping them to become the leaders, innovators, and thinkers of tomorrow. In thisrapidly globalizing world, where borders are increasingly blurred by technology and culture, the role of English language proficiency cannot be overstated. Therefore, I believe that teacher English oralproficiency is not just a skill but a necessity in today's educational landscape.Firstly, let us consider the role of language in education. Language is the medium through which knowledge is transmitted. It is the bridge that connects the teacher's thoughts and ideas to the students' understanding.A teacher who is proficient in English can convey complex concepts more effectively, ensuring that students grasp the material with ease. This proficiency is especially crucial in subjects that require a high level of conceptual understanding, such as science, mathematics, andliterature. Moreover, English is the lingua franca of the world. In an era where students are expected to be globally competitive, being able to communicate in English opens up numerous opportunities. Whether it is pursuing higher education abroad, engaging in international research collaborations, or even just participating in global discussions,English proficiency is a key to success. As teachers, we have a responsibility to equip our students with the tools they need tonavigate this interconnected world. Now, let's delve into the reasons why teacher English oral proficiencyis essential:1. Enhanced Learning Experience: When teachers are fluent in English, they can engage students in more dynamic and interactive lessons. This includes discussions, debates, and group work, all of which are crucial for fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By beingable to speak fluently, teachers can encourage students to express theirthoughts and ideas more freely, leading to a more inclusive and enriching learning environment.2. Cultural Exchange: English proficiency allows teachers to introduce students to different cultures and perspectives. Through stories, songs, and videos in English, teachers can expose their students to a world beyond their own, broadening their horizons and fostering empathy and understanding.3. Increased Confidence: A teacher who is confident in their English language skills can inspire confidence in their students. When students see their teachers communicating effectively in English, they are more likely to feel comfortable and empowered to learn the language themselves. This positive reinforcement can be a powerful motivator.4. Professional Development: Being proficient in English can open doors to professional development opportunities. Teachers can attend international conferences, workshops, and seminars, where they can learn from experts and share their own experiences with a global audience. This not only benefits the teacher but also enriches the entire educational community.5. Adaptability: In today's fast-paced world, adaptability is key. A teacher who is proficient in English can adapt to different teaching methods and styles, making their lessons more engaging and effective. They can also adapt to the changing needs of their students, ensuring that they receive the best possible education. To achieve and maintain high levels of English oral proficiency, teachers can take several steps:- Continuous Learning: Never stop learning. Take courses, attend workshops, and engage in self-study to improve your English skills. Remember, the journey to proficiency is a continuous process.- Practice, Practice, Practice: Find opportunities to practice speaking English regularly. This could be through teaching, participating in English conversation clubs, or simply engaging in conversations with native speakers.- Use Technology: Utilize language learning apps, online courses, and video resources to enhance your English skills. Technology can be a great tool for self-study and practice.- Seek Feedback: Don't be afraid to ask for feedback from colleagues, students, or language experts. Constructive criticism is essential for improvement.- Be Patient and Persistent: Language learning can be challenging, but with patience and persistence, you can achieve your goals. In conclusion, teacher English oral proficiency is a vital skill in today's educational landscape. It not only enhances the learning experience for students but also opens doors for teachers to grow professionally and personally. Let us all strive to be the best educators we can be, by continuously improving our English language skills.Thank you for your attention. I welcome any questions or comments you may have on this topic. Let us work together to create a brighter future for our students and our world.。

Your encouragement and trust have been invaluable in helping me grow as an educator. As an outstanding teacher, I believe that the following qualities are essential:1. Passion for TeachingPassion is the driving force behind every great teacher. Without passion, teaching can become monotonous and unfulfilling. I have always been passionate about my subject, and I strive to convey this enthusiasm to my students. I believe that when students see their teacher's passion, they are more likely to be engaged and motivated to learn.2. Strong Communication SkillsEffective communication is crucial in the teaching profession. As a teacher, I must be able to convey information clearly and concisely, as well as listen actively to my students. This involves not only verbal communication but also non-verbal cues, such as body language and facial expressions. By being an effective communicator, I can create a positive learning environment that fosters understanding and collaboration.3. Patience and EmpathyPatience is a virtue that every teacher must possess. Students come from diverse backgrounds, with varying levels of understanding and readiness to learn. As a teacher, I must be patient and understanding, providing support and guidance as needed. Empathy allows me to connect with my students on a personal level, making them feel valued and supported.4. Continuous LearningEducation is a continuous process, and as teachers, we must always be learners ourselves. I am committed to attending workshops, conferences, and professional development courses to enhance my teaching skills and knowledge.5. Strong Organizational SkillsOrganizing lessons, managing time, and maintaining order in the classroom are critical to the success of a teacher. A well-organized teacher can create a structured learning environment that helps students stay focused and motivated. I am meticulous in planning my lessons, ensuring that they are well-structured, engaging, and aligned with the curriculum.6. AdaptabilityThe world is constantly changing, and as educators, we must be adaptable to meet the evolving needs of our students. This involves being open to new teaching methods, embracing technology, and being flexible in our approach. By being adaptable, I can provide my students with a dynamic and engaging learning experience.7. Positive Role ModelAs a teacher, I am not only a mentor but also a role model. I strive to demonstrate positive behavior, integrity, and a strong work ethic. By being a positive role model, I can inspire my students to be the best they can be, both academically and personally. Now, let me share some key strategies that have helped me become an outstanding teacher:1. Establishing Clear ExpectationsFrom the first day of class, I make sure to establish clear expectations for my students. This includes setting academic and behavioral standards, as well as explaining the grading criteria. By doing so, I provide my students with a sense of direction and purpose.2. Encouraging Student InvolvementI believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process. To encourage student involvement, I incorporate various teaching methods, such as group work, discussions, and project-based learning. This not only promotes critical thinking but alsofosters collaboration and teamwork.3. Providing Constructive FeedbackConstructive feedback is essential for student growth and development. I provide regular feedback on my students' work, focusing on their strengths and areas for improvement. By offering specific and actionable advice, I help my students to understand their progress and set achievable goals.4. Many students said Xia Yangqing was a bad boy. They didn’t want to play with him.I know he must be very sad.So I often had the sense to call him to answer some easy questions in class. If he answered well,I would praise him at once. In short, the students care a lot about how the teachers assess them .I hope my words can somehow help everybody to assess studentsI talk with my students this wayIn my opinion, students and teachers are equal. We should repect them and we can't scold them when they make mistakes. In a word, we should treat children as human being. But it is easy to say that different to achieve. When some parents see a child doing something with difficulty, they tend to help his\her immediately. This response is part of our human nature and should be understood. However, too much attention and care can destroy children's activity and confidence. Instead, we should believe them and encourage them.In school, some teachers do not respect pupils. They would scold, critize children when children misvehave. Such behavior would definately do great harm to children and destroy their dignity, self-confidence and motivation in learning. What's more, teachers and parents tend to think that children are just like a blank piece of paper. They should be fed with knowledge which is useful for their future life. As a result, children are given very little respect and freedom in choosing or developing their own way of thinking and learning. We believe that children should be respected in terms of what to learn and how to learn. Humannistic education requires the teachers to treat children as human being who have their own thoughts and needs. Teachers should never try to force their ideas into children's minds but try to think from the children's point of view. We should learn to offer children opportunities to talk, to create and allow them to fail. This is the same with language learning. Children need to be allowed to try new language to learn from "trial and error" and gradually they will become independent learners.Otherwise, we should realize that it is not reasonable to expect children to achieve the same goal. We should realize every student is different from each other that we should talk with them in different ways. The English curriculum has also stated that the important aim of teaching English to children at the beginning is to build up their confidence, to provide motivation, to show them that English is fun and to encourage them just to ues whatever English they have to communicate. An expert points out that we should not angry with students' errors. In opposite, it will make children lose confidence from fear of making mistakes, making them reluctant to take risks and they are likely to become dependent on the teacher to correct their errors. If we pay too much attention t accuracy, students will not be willing to speak freely without being 100% sure.At last, as we know, children do things that interest them and make them feel good about themselves. Children are active, creative and imaginative. They like to act and play games. So providing activities for children is a good way to talk with them. They need the opportunity to exercise their imaginations and creativity. They will not like to be lectured but to be involved in actions and presentations. They need to be recognized for what they do and praized for their efforts and participation. Therefore, their experience of learning the language leads to the successful communication between teachers and students. At last, I want to say teachers should be friendly and treat children as human being. Obviously, children have great interests in learning English. The classroom atmosphere is relaxing and active. We can talk very successfully. We can understand each other in classAs we know, learning English is for communication. So in our English lesson, we should make sure that teachers and students can understand each other. If we can do it well, students and teachers will feel happy in class. It will lead to a good result.I remember last week I was ill that I can't stand in class, the students near me found it out. So the students asked me to sit down and one of the students moved a chair for me. I kept sitting on the chair for the whole class. However, the students, especially the nauty students kept silent in this lesson. They concentrated on the whole class. After class, when I went back to my office, some students followed me. I think my students are so kind and friendly that they understand their teacher. This is about students understand teachers. There's another example. Last year, I taught Grade3 and Grade6. Otherwise, I was the headteacher of Grade. When I got busy, my toast will not be comfortable. One day, a student of Grade3 disturbed the other students in my class. I warmed him but it was no use. I became angry and asked him to be quietly with high voice. My toast was not comfortable at once. The other students scolded the boy, but I asked them not to do so. Ater that, the boy stood up and came up to me. He gave me a cup of tea and recognized the mistake. I think the boy and the other students understand me very much.As teachers, we should understand our students, too. As we know, children are naturally curious and active. They're full of enthusiam and often shows a lot of eagerness to participate. It is often said that children's attention span is short. So some teachers become strict to his students. I think it shows that teacher can't understand the students. Because children are quite different from adults. Adults often learn with a clear purpose or motivation in mind, while children do not usually have a clear purpose for learning another language as they may regard it just as another school subject. So if some students can't control by themselves, we can't become angry, he should be tolerant and patient. We can stop talking to arise his\her attention instead of scolding. One day, I had free talk with my students in class. I asked a poor student where are you going? He answered I'm going to the hospital. I asked him why. He told me that his grandfather was ill. I said I'm sorry to hear that. I hope his grandfather will get better soon. This produre helped the teacher a lot. He became active in that lesson and I often found that he smiled in my class. I can conclude that he is becoming interested in English gradually because of my concern. Are there any ways for the teachers and students to understand each other? I think so. For example, when students get good performance, I can smile at him\her to praize. It can make the students feel the enjoyment and success of learning. When some students can't act well, that theyfeel embrassed, as teachers,we can give encouragements with our eyes. It says "It doesn't matter. Please try it again." When we're talking with the students who's very nervous and hescitated to talk. They look at the teacher nervously. We can encourage with our eyes so that he becomes confident. When a student's face shows he is not sure about the answer of my question, I will give him an opportunity to listen to another student. When the student's eyes are not active, maybe he's thinking other things, I can ask his deskmate to answer my question. When the expression of students shows they can't understand me well, I know that they have problems with the lesson. I will not be angry, insteading of teaching them again. So I think if a teacher wants to make students understand him\her, he\she should understand studentd, too.I never talk too much in classAs we know, children are naturally curious and active. They're full of enthusiam and often show a lot of eagerness to participation. It is often said that children's attention span is short, so some teahcers become very strict to their students, but I sometimes find small children can concentrate on one thing for fairly long time. So it really depends on what they do. For the first year teaching, I'm not good at controlling the students, so I often ask my students to sit straight to look at me and listen to me a lot. But in a result, it doesn't benefit the students and teaching results. So I realize as teachers, we can't talk too much in class.First, as a teacher, we should be a good organizer. When we give students an environment to talk, we should organize the students well. To teach adults, we do not need to worry about it. Because they can control them by themselves. In this period, we needn't to worry whether our students can talk or not,we just pat more attention to their discipline. If the classroom discipline in under the teacher's control, students can talk a lot freely in the environment the teacher provides. However, if the discipline is not good, class is in disorder. So as a teacher, we should organize our class in order, but not to talk too much about discipline in class.Second, we need to create a very relaxed and friendly environment for children to try to speak in the new language. I think if the children feel happy in my class, they will listen to me very carefully and I don't need to repeat again and again and there is more time for students to talk. When the students finish talking, we need to encourage them and praise them for being brave. I think creating a relaxed environment should be quite easy to get them involved in learning and talking. It helps me a lot in teaching and I need not to talk too much in class.Third, I give many opportunities to my students. When they act well, I give them praize. So from these opportunities, they can praize a lot and I needn't to talk much. Because in my opponion, if teachers give them opportunities to experience with the language, children learn faster andbetter when they're happy and relaxed, when they're involved phusically and mentally in activities, when they are given the opportunities to act out what they are able to say or sing. In this way, they can gradually develop interest and build up their confidence in learning.Fourth, when it's time to consolidate the new lesson, I never repeat the new words or main points or sentences a lot. Sometimes I ask my students to summarize the new lesson. For example, when I finish teaching the lesson of teaching, it's time for students to make a dialogue using "Can I help you? What would you like? How much? What color...?The red one."and so on. I ask my students to tell me what the shop assistant should say and what the customers say. I choose the students who say well to act. I never repeat the main point for students. I think students can consolidate the main points from their our consolidation.Fifth, when organizing the activities for my students, I never talk too much. First, I often organize some activities that should be simple enough for children to understand. I needn't explain a lot for it. Second, before activities, I provide a clear meaningful purpose to my students and make them know. They can get a lot from the activities and talk with each other freely. Third, the task should be within their abilities. That is to say, they can communicate with each other by themselves, not depending on teachers' help.Teaching is for students. The class is mostly for students. We're just their organizer and helpler. We shouldn't talk too much in class. My students enjoy my classesChildren are different from adults who often have clear personal goals and objectives for learning a foreign language. For children, a foreign language is simplu another school subject they have to do in school. Children do things that interest them and make them feel good about themselves. Children are active, creative and imaginative. They like to act and play games. And they need the opportunity to exercise their imaginations and creativity. They will not like be lectured but to be involved in actions and presentations. They need to be recognized for what they do and praized for their efforts and participation. Therefore, in my class, I plan just for my students, not according to my own ideas.First, I create many opportunities for them. Children learn faster and better when they are given opportunities, They are happy and relaxed, when they are given the opportunities to act out what they are able to say or sing, they can gradually develop interest and build up their confidence in learning. That is to say, if I give them many opportunities to practice English, they like my class.Second, I often organize many activities or competition. After a long presentation or some individual work, the teacher, may use some activities or competition. When they act well, we should give them much praize. They need to be recognized for what they do and praized for their efforts and partipation. They can get success from the process of activities or competition. Of course, the activities we organize should contain 3 aspects: 1.be simple enough for children tounderstand. 2. Provide a clear meaningful purpose to my students. 3. The task should be within their abilities, it needs to be achieveable but at the same time stimulating for them to feel satisfied with their work. They enjoy the activities and competition, so they enjoy a lot in my classes.Third, we should play some interesing games with students. The main problems of using games perhaps are the discipline problems. However, we should try to overcome the problems to benefit our students most, instead of scolding their for them when they can't control. In fact there're many games which are quite simple and easily to manage with large classes. If we can organize games well, there aren't discipline problems. They can get enjoyment from games and they can feel they are successful.Fourth, if we want our students feel successful, it is not reasonable to expect children to achieve a high goal. The English curriculum has also stated that the important aim of teaching English to children at the beginning si to build up their confidence, to provide motivation, to show them that English is fun and to encourage them. English teaching should make students feel successful. So when students make errors, we can't scold them. It will make children lose confidence from fear of making mistakes, making them reluctant to take risks. When they pay too much to atention on accuracy, they will not be willing to speak freely with being 100% true.Fifth,if we want our students feel successful, as teachers, we should be friendly and treats children as human beings. Obviously, children have great interests in learning English. The classroom atmosphere is relaxing and active. They can get success from it. However, if we are so strict that the students feel scared and can't concentrate on learning. At last, he will feel disappointed in learning English.Sixth, we should give a good assessment when the students act well or making progress in exams. As teachers, we should establish an assessment system to motivati children's learning. They're satisfied with the assessment that I give them. They hope to be recognized by his teacher and classmates.Seventh, in order to make my students love our classes, we should be their good friends, especially some poor students. That is to say, we should pay attention to every student. We should judge if they're happy or unhappy according to their expression and let the students know your teacher loves you very much. What can we do when a student fails inWe can meet with this situation in our class. At this time, we should be as tolerant as we can. The English curriculum has also stated that the important aim of teaching English to children at the beginning is to build up their confidence, to provide motivation, to show them that English is fun and to encourage them just to use whatever English they have to communicate. So if we're lack of tolerance when a student fails in talking, we may hurt students' dignity and confidence.。
