(2) 教师引导学生观察A项情境图，然后师生一起讨论：Who are they? What is the topic about? 让学生初步了解Bill的朋友，预测听力材料可能涉及的内容。
2. 呈现新的学习内容(1) 播放A项录音，让学生整体感知新语言。
(2) 再次播放录音，学生完成听力任务。
(3) 第三次播放录音，教师与学生一起边听录音边对答案。
3. 词汇学习和操练(1) 词汇学习教师将九个目标词汇教学卡片放到黑板上，每次请一名学生选择一个词卡摘下来读给全班听。
如果遇学生不会或读得不准等情况，教师可以引导学生借助学过的拼读规则拼读单词，例如polite→/pə/, /laɪ/, /t/。
教师边带着学生读边在单词下面划三条小线段，如po，li，te。
再让学生试读几遍，边读边记。
然后逐一进行词汇学习。
①学习clever教师出一道数学题或出一道英语猜谜题，当有学生答对时，教师要立刻表扬最快给出答案的学生：You’re clever.接着提问：Who is clever in our class?②学习careless教师展示作业本上一些不该犯的错题，然后描述这样的学生：They’re careless.③学习polite教师做动作让学生明白polite的含义。

根据学生的实际情况，呈现该教学计划：一．学情分析五年级的学生已经学过两年的英语，具备了一定的听、说、读、写的技能。

设置一些pair work来巩固所学词汇和句子，触发学生的思考力。

而Read and write部分教学目标要求学生能读懂会话或短文，完成检查学生理解程度上的句子填空练习，即一道任务型阅读题。

第一课时
教学目标：
Let’s learn中的动词短语：eat breakfast，do morning exercises，have English class，play sports，eat dinner。
句型：When do you do ...？I usually...at...。
教学重难点：
单词exercises和usually的发音较难掌握：exercises可以让学生分音节由慢到快的模仿发音；usually先让学生着重练习/V/的音，再完成整个单词的发音。
课前准备：
调查表的复印材料。
动词短语eat breakfast，do morning exercises，have English class，play sports，eat dinner的图片(下面标有相应的英文)。
录音材料：Let’s start，Let’s learn，Let’s chant，五年级上册第二单元B部分歌谣。
教学过程：
