Lesson 6 I Like Spring

一、The analysis of the teaching material

The lesson is about seasons. By studying of this lesson, the students know how to say the four seasons in English and how to describe the four seasons with simple words and sentences. The sentences patterns of this lesson.” Which season do you like? I like _____ . I don’t like_____ . It’s _____ . We can swim. We have snow in winter. ” are the key and difficult points of this lesson.

The teaching aim of the lesson:

The knowledge aim: The students can listen, say, read and write the following words and sentences. spring summer fall winter, snow, swim. Which season do you like?

I like___ I don’t like___.

The ability aim: The students can improve their language ability and form independent learning ability.

The emotion aim: The students can love nature. persuit and look forword to beauty. Train the students active life attitude.

The study of this lesson will help the students with daily communication.

二、The analysis of the students.

This lesson is for the students of Grade Four. Most students of the class are lovely、active、bravery and independent. The students like to learn English. Especially games and acitvities are popular to them .The students of Grade Four have formed good learning habits. They have formed the using ability of languge.

The content of course is connected closely with our daily life. The students are interested in this lesson. They like to talk about this topic. In the teaching process.

I should be connected with the students’life and creat real context for the students. Let the students learn the correct pronunciation and tone in the real context . The students can express which season they like or which season they don’t like. The words and the sentences of this lesson are not difficult. The describing of the seasons are the difficult points.

三、The teaching idea

According to this lesson and the students. This lesson will show the following the teaching ideas.

During the teaching process, I give the students many opportunities to talk in many conversational situations. student—to—student; student—to—group; student—to —teacher and student—to—class. It leads the students to have a wide range of audio trainings. All this develops the skill to communicate real meaning. It promotes flexible language use so that the students can function in a variety of situations. In the teaching process, I put the words into sentences, put the sentences into passages. It focuses on language communication teaching idea.

e.g. After I teach“spring,summer,fall,winter”these four words,let the students say phrases,and sentences with these words.Finally,let the students say a psssage.
