Modulc8 Choosing presents1.教学整体设计本节课是阅读课,旨在发展学生阅读理解能力,培养学生学会给亲朋好友表达情感。

基于本节课阅读材料的特点及教学目标,我讲“Celebrate special days and best wishes”设定为本节课的探究主题。

基于主题意义建构与探究的需要,本节课导入环节利用“warm up”的热身活动,回复之前在上一节课所学习的生日聚会的场景,很自然就导入到这节课的挑选礼物的学习。

之后引导学生阅读文本找出“who”给谁送礼物,”what”送什么礼物*why”为什么送礼物为主线,帮助学生了解文章传递的信息。

接着,引导学生跟深入思考在母亲节或者特殊的日子如何传递自己的情感。

最后通过学生的阅读和复述课文,让学生更加深入的体会文章的主题意义。

2.教学内容分析内容分析:通过回答who, what 和why 三个问题,对文本进行深度解读。

【who】该文章的5 个篇章讲了5 个不同的人,表达了5 个不同的人的生活特点和喜好。

第一个大明的爷爷奶奶,讲述他们的喜好和简朴的而有规律的生活。

第二个大明的妈妈,讲述了她的购物特点和生活喜好。

第三个是Bettyis 的堂妹,讲述了她的爱好阅读和电影以及生活方式。

第四个是Tony讲述了她爱好音乐和在喜好上的花钱特点。

它是通过前一单元谈论“Tony的生日过程”的听说活动,进行本单元“如何为他人选择礼物”的读写活动,通过这样的活动,培养学生基础语言知识,阅读能力和语言技能的训练, 最终实现听说读写的综合学习, 实现语言结构与词汇学习的运用训练。
