Warm up:Show some pictures about how to have a nice summer holiday.Let students talk about them.Teacher points to the pictures and asks questions: T:What is the girl doing?

S2:He is looking after the baby for his aunt.
T:What are the two boys doing?
S3:They are washing cars on the road.
T:What are the children doing?

Group work:Work in groups.Ask the students to talk about what they will do during the summer holiday.
S1:What will you do for the summer holiday?
S2:I will have a good rest at home.I feel so tired these days.
S1:You’re right.Then what will you do?
S2:My dad says he will take us to go on a trip for several days.What about you?
S1:My aunt asks me to look after my little cousin.
S2:Oh,I hope you will have a good time.

S3:I will read more good books in the library.
After a few minutes, ask some groups to make a report in front of the class.

Step 2.Presentation

Teacher leads the students to learn the new words and phrases.Then make sentences with the new words and phrases.Teacher can use objects and pictures.

S:Yes, please.

2.Pair work:Ask the students to work in pairs to make conversations.Try to use the new words and expressions.

S7:Yes.I took some photos of the school life.I will show them at the party.

2.Work group:Talk about your feelings and activities now.Make a plan for your summer holiday.Discuss them with your group members.
