究其原因不难发现，课堂环节安排不合理，所学的知识没及时巩固，知识没能螺旋式上升，直接导致教学效果的畸形，学生的学习成绩往往大家都不满意。
面对如此频频告急的教学危机，这不能不引发我们的反思。
我个人认为，激发学生对学科兴趣的过程中，不能只停留在课堂表面的“活”，“乐”，“玩”中。
我们更要注重学科本身，从学得后产生的成功体验来不断滋长兴趣，挖掘学生学习的内驱力。
在教学中我们应该做到如下几点：一、面向全体，分层教学在游戏教学过程中，不可回避的如何对待不同层次的学生。
我们设计的游戏要注重面向全体学生，难度适中，让大家都参与。
可以根据学生的个人素质，性格特点，记忆力反应速度等，因材施教，分层要求，以求最有效的激励机制促进学生不断上进。
二、组织得法，严谨有序做好游戏的组织工作，做到有条不紊，活而不乱。
小学生天性爱游戏，争强好胜，有些学生做起来容易忘乎所以，甚至在课堂上，有时会情不自禁地高声喊，因此在开始游戏之前一定要讲清规则、纪律要求，评分标准等以防患未然。
在游戏过程中即使还出现一些混乱，要能理解学生的心理，不一味批评，而是积极讲清楚，在集体活动中，大家应该遵守规则。

究其原因，是学生对英语学习的接触面小，说练机会少，以及他与中文的部分反差的诸多因素，使得学生对英语学习常常存在“厌、怕、弃”的不健康的心理。
这使我不得不改善教学方法。
这学期我做的成功之处是：第一，确立与新课程相适应的教育观念。
学生是学习的主体，老师不能代替学生读书，代替学生感知，代替学生观察、分析、思考，代替学生明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。
老师只能让学生自己读书，自己感受事物，自己观察、分析、思考，从而明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。
于是我改变“一言堂”，把课堂还给学生，构成师生交往、用心互动、共同发展的教学过程。
第二，使学生明白学习目的。
要学好英语，首先要使学生认识到学这一语言的目的和好处。
众所周知，人类社会已经进入了21世纪，新的世界将是个充满竞争和多变的世纪，中国要在跨世纪的竞争中取得主动，中华民族要腾飞，要最终取决于优秀科技人才的涌现。
如果我们不懂英语，怎样去了解世界只有学生自觉地把自己的理想与祖国的前途和命运联系起来，才会对英语学习真正感兴趣，这种兴趣也有可能转为学习英语的动力。
因此我结合学生的实际状况，通读和节选教材，围绕着最简单、最基本、最常用的英语词汇、句型、交际会话等进行教学，使学生对英语产生兴趣，构成学习动机。
第三，改革课堂教学，用心运用校园推广的讲学稿。
用心响应和落实校园的改革实验课题，在每一节英语课堂教学中都认真使用讲学稿，并认真出好每一份讲学稿，督促检查好每一位学生做好讲学稿并实行周周清每周小测试，检查学生掌握知识的熟悉程度，以查漏补缺，扎实打好学生的英语基础，尽快提高学生的英语成绩。
第四，努力建立融洽的师生关系。

学生对英语课堂知识的掌握不实在、理解不全面，课外花的冤枉时间多；而大部分学生对书本知识不够重视，找不到英语学科复习的有效载体，不能有效的利用课本，适时地回归课本，英语复习缺乏系统性，英语学习缺乏主动性。
部分学生在复习时缺乏系统安排和科学计划，或者学习和复习没有个性化特点，导致学习效果不明显。
基于以上情况，我认为作为教师首先要有正确地意识，应充分认识到：一节课有没有效益，并不是指教师有没有教完内容或教得认真不认真，而是指学生有没有学到什么或学生学得好不好。
如果学生不想学或学了没有收获，既使教师教得很辛苦也是无效教学；或者学生学得很辛苦，却没有得到应有的发展，也是无效或低效教学。
其实在教学中，备课是一个必不可少，十分重要的环节，备学生，又要备教法。
备课不充分或者备得不好，会严重影响课堂气氛和积极性，记得一位优秀的老师曾说过：“备课备不好，倒不如不上课，否则就是白费心机。
”我明白到备课的重要性，因此，每天我都花费大量的时间在备课之上，认认真真钻研教材和教法，不满意就不收工。

让学生自由用英语交谈，允许学生模仿课文内容适当增减，自由发挥。
也可以根据课文内容，通过问答形式作简要的复述。
由单一的讨论内容过渡到综合内容，把几个不同内容的话题串联起来，既复习旧知识，又开发了学生的求知欲。
还特别注意，轮到中差生会话时，鼓励他们大胆实践，有点滴进步就给予表扬肯定，以增强他们的自信心。
⑵注重语感教学。
加强听说训练，努力做到视、听、说同步，培养语学习兴趣。
每篇课文的生词、句型和文章都是朗读的好材料。
要注意创造情景，让学生懂得不同句子的重音有不同的语感，显示不同的语言心理。
经过训练，学生在以后朗读中也就注意了正确使用语音、语调和重读、弱读及升调，朗读也会绘声绘色，津津有味了，课堂上学生们兴趣盎然，学习积极性也大大提高了。
⑶对话使用，角色表演。
结合课文内容，每教一个情景句型，让学生用当天所学的，到讲台前来表演。
如学到Family Tree这课，我告诉学生都带一张"全家福"照片，根据自己的全家福来用英语介绍。
有能力的学生在根据实际情况在黑板上画出图表。
整个课堂就是欢乐的海洋，在热烈的气氛中学生们学会并运用所学单词和句型，提高了运用语言交际的能力。
⑷运用直观教具为了进一步激发学生学习兴趣。
我充分利用多媒体，图片、图表及实物、录音机等现代化教学手段及教具，生动形象地开展教学和交际活动。

《牛津英语》词汇的实用性使得教学中很容易找到实物、图片、学生学习起来不但兴趣盎然，而且通过实物、图片的词汇教学使学生记忆深刻，很多学生甚至饶有兴致地参与到老师的教学中来。
他们自己搞课前小制作，制作画片，帮助老师准备词汇教学的教具。

二、操练。
操练是课堂教学的重要环节，也是最能反映出学生存在问题的环节。

担任英语学科的老师都曾发生这样的感慨：乡下的中学学生和城里的中学学生两个样。
其中有很多因素，但是环境是一个重要方面。
一学期将近过去了，我发现学生对学习英语的气氛不是很浓，而且学习自觉性很差，主要表现在以下几个方面：
一、学过的单词，老师要求背出，学生总是借口其他作业太多，没时间背，往后一拖再拖，即便能背出来，也是临时死记抢记出来的。
等到其他需要的时候又忘了。
二、上过的新课，相应的配套练习，不自觉去独立完成，总希望老师和他们一起来做。
三、死记硬背的东西多，联系的东西少，因此表面上看感觉还可以，但真正一考起来，问题出来很多，而且差距很大。
每次考完试下来，问题也出来了，尖子生还可以，但落后面的学生太差。
针对以上情况，要改变这种局面，我觉的要做的事很多。
首先，要培养学生良好的学习习惯，课前多预习，课堂45分钟让学生集中注意力听讲，把老师讲的内容真正听懂。
不是似懂非懂。
课后认真完成配套练习，不懂的地方，多向老师或成绩好的学生请教。
其次，学生
学习要主次分明，主要学科课后时间分配相应的因当多一些，特别是对英语学科，因为他毕竟不是国文。
基础不打好，以后想提高也难。
第三，要灵活掌握学过的知识点，学习要讲究方法，举一反三，融会贯通，只有这样，学生才能把所学的知识串联起来，不容易忘记。
总之，要让学生明白，学习英语不是一天两天的事，贵在坚持，是要*平时慢慢积累起来的。
