Choose the best answer(根据短文内容,选择最恰当的答案): ( 12分)26-year-old Luke Cameron decided to do at least one good deed (善事) a day, for365 days after a good family friend died in October, 2013—and he made it!He said: “Maura was like a mother to me. She was the most amazing andinspirational(鼓舞人心的) woman I've ever met. When a neighbour needed food, shegave her last potato. When a friend needed money, she gave her last pound. She gaveher whole life helping others around her and at her funeral(葬礼)over 4,000 people queued for 3 hours to get in and show their respects. ”Luke performed his first good deed on January 1st, 2014, with the simple act of greeting a waitress at a cafe he visited. The next day he bought food and drinks for some homeless people and followed it up by giving coins to a woman who did not have enough to feed a parking meter. Though most of his kind acts have been welcomed, Luke says there have been a few embarrassing situations. For example, when he bought a sausage roll for a homeless man, but the man happened to be a vegetarian who didn't eat meat or fish.To try to encourage others to perform good deeds, Luke has created a deck of cards(一副牌). They're called "Cards for Kindness" and each card suggests a simple act of kindness -- things like giving a stranger a hug or making peace with an enemy. All the money he collects from giving out the cards is donated to a charity--the British Heart Foundation.Luke's generosity didn't go unnoticed-- to reward (奖赏) the young man as he was near the end of his journey, Domino's Pizza awarded him a year's supply of free pizza. Not surprisingly, the big-hearted youngster used the gift to hold special pizza days for charity. And that is not all -- since starting his challenge, Luke also entered a competition run by Utility Aid to win the job of National Philanthropy (慈善事业) Manager. That's also known as The Nicest Job in Britain. His Good Deed challenge made the organizers think that he was the right man for the job. So, for the whole of 2015, Luke will be paid to travel the UK and assist 45 different charities.Luke has also decided to continue his challenge for another year and says the experiment has completely changed his life. Another example is that Ronald Reagan, 40th President of the United States, changed the ___5___ 666 St. Cloud Road, Bel Air to 668 St. Cloud Road, Bel Air before moving in.But in Asia, people love “666” because it sound like “things going smoothly,” and is considered to be very lucky.13People all over the world don’t like “13.” It’s difficult for you to find a building with a 13th floor in North America. Friday the 13th is considered a very bad day.2In many Asian countries, “2” is good luck. It is thought that good things come in pairs, which is a phrase that ___6___ appears in Western culture.8Maybe no people in the world are more fascinated about the number “8” than the Chinese. This can make you feel proud of what you've achieved and excited about what you might do.Child psychologist Laverne Antrobus agrees and says that focusing on your own goals is more worthwhile than always trying to come out on top.Do comparisons make you unhappy? Comparing yourself to those around you is natural and we often do it without realizing. It can help us to find our achievements and to form friendships with new people who have similar interests. However, it's important to be realistic and remember that nobody is perfect, especially online and on social media. Taking note of how the comparison is making you feel matters, too.If you begin to feel quite low, Abbott suggests choosing a different role model or focusing on your own strengths and what you're good at. In my opinion, there is some false information in it, and it also encourages children to have bad eating habits. In the advertisement, there is a popular TV cartoon character who says that Cheese in a Tube is “thebest cheese in the world”. This is, of course, not true. However, I havetwo young children who love the cartoon character in theadvertisement. Now they hope to eat the cheese every day. Theybelieve that your cheese is the best in the world and they don’t wantany other kind. The cartoon character then says that Cheese in a Tube is “good for young kids”. Well, I checked the information on the packet. There certainly isn’t very much cheese in your product – only 5% – and it has more fat and calories(热量) than chocolate! It’s probably one of the unhealthiest things you can buy in the supermarket. Child obesity is a huge problem in our country. Our children are the fattest in the world, and products like yours just make things worse. Finally, the advertisement ends with two beautiful, slim, healthy-looking children sitting in front of the TV. Their mother calls them to come to the kitchen to eat a vegetable salad. The children say they’re watching their favourite cartoon – the same character who is in the advertisement, of course – so what does the mother do? She brings each of them some Cheese in a Tube! The parents eat their salad in the kitchen while the children enjoy the cheese in front of the TV! I believe that it’s good for children and parents to eat together, but obviously (明显地) your company doesn’t.Please change this terrible advertisement.
