Nowadays more and more people…/…plays an important part in…Like everything else… has /have both favorable and unfavorable aspects (both advantages and disadvantages). Generally, the favorable aspects (advantages) can be listed as follows. First…secondly…in addition(what’s more)… Every coin has two sides. The negative aspects (advantages) are also apparent (obvious). To begin with… to make matters worse… worst of all… Through above analysis/All things considered, we can see that the positive aspects(advantages) outweigh the negative aspects(disadvantages). Therefore …

Title: Should College Education Be Free?Nowadays, the issue of whether college education should be free has aroused a heated debate. Some people argue that college education should be free, while others hold the opposite view. In my opinion, I believe that college education should be free for all students.First and foremost, education is a basic human right and should not be a privilege for the wealthy. By making college education free, we can ensure that everyone has equal access to higher education, regardless of theirfinancial background. This will help to reduce the gap between the rich and the poor, and promote social equality and justice.Furthermore, free college education can also benefit the economy. With a more educated workforce, the country will be more competitive in the global market. This will lead to higher productivity, innovation, and economic growth. Additionally, by reducing the financial burden on students, they will be more likely to pursue higher education, which will ultimately lead to a more skilled and knowledgeable workforce. Moreover, free college education can also help to reduce student loan debt. Many students are burdened with heavy student loan debt after graduation, which can have a negative impact on their financial well-being and future opportunities. By making college education free, we can alleviate this financial burden and allow students to focus on their studies and future careers, rather than worrying about how to pay off their debts. However, some people may argue that free college education will be too costly for the government to afford. While it is true that providing free college education will require a significant investment, the long-term benefits will outweigh the costs. As mentioned earlier, a more educated workforce will contribute to economic growth and prosperity, which will ultimately benefit the entire society. In conclusion, I firmly believe that college education should be free for all students. Not only is it a basic human right, but it also has numerous benefits for individuals, the economy, and society as a whole. By investing in free college education, we can create a more equitable and prosperous future for everyone. Title: The Importance of Mental Health Education in Schools。

An Unforgettable NightAt 10 o’clock last Saturday night I came out of the cinema. It was cold and the ro ad was covered with snow.Suddenly I saw a woman fall off her bike. She couldn’t get up. I ran to her at once and tried to help her to sit up. She said that her right leg was broken. I was worrying about when a young policeman came over. He called a taxi. I took her to a hospital and telephoned her family about the matter. As I saw the woman was well looked after, I said goodbye to her.I felt happy I could help the woman and I also hope she will be soon getting well.【评析】本文是一篇典型的三段文章,第一段介绍人物、时间及故事的背景;第二段写事件过程;第三段写感受。

She shouted, “Stop the thief! He’s snatched my bag!” Hearing this, a few people began to run after him. There was an old man sitting quietly on a bench nearby. As the snatcher was running past him, the old man quickly picked up his umbrella and put it between the snatcher’s legs. The young man fell down on the ground hard. Soon two policemen came in a police car and arrested him. The woman thanked the old man, and the people around praised the old man for his cleverness.(二)议论文:在近几年的高考中,议论文的比重占得越来越多,议论文的出题形式可以多种多样,有看图写作、图表、表格、书信等各种类型,但文体实际上是议论文,而有时是夹叙的议论文。

Writing is a complex and multifaceted skill that can take many forms. In the English language, there are four primary types of writing styles that authors and communicators can utilize to convey their messages effectively. These four styles are narrative, descriptive, expository, and persuasive. Each style has its own unique characteristics and serves a distinct purpose in the realm of written expression. The narrative writing style is perhaps the most familiar and widely recognized form of written communication. Narratives tell a story, guiding the reader through a sequence of events, characters, and plot developments. Narratives can be fictional, drawing from the author's imagination, or they can be non-fictional, recounting real-life experiences and occurrences. Regardless of the subject matter, narratives are characterized by their use of chronological structure, character development, and the incorporation of dialogue and sensory details to immerse the reader in the story. The primary purpose of narrative writing is to entertain, enlighten, or emotionally engage the audience.Descriptive writing, on the other hand, focuses on the vivid and detailed portrayal of a specific person, place, object, or experience. The goal of descriptive writing is to paint a vivid picture in the reader's mind, engaging their senses and evoking a strong emotional response. Descriptive writers use rich, evocative language, including figurative expressions, to create a sensory-rich experience for the reader. This style of writing is often used in creative writing, such as poetry and short stories, but it can also be employed in more practical contexts, such as travel writing or product descriptions. The expository writing style is primarily concerned with informing and educating the reader. Expository texts aim to explain a topic, provide factual information, or analyze a concept in a clear and organized manner. This style of writing is often found in academic essays, research papers, news articles, and instructional materials. Expository writing is characterized by its use of logical organization, the presentation of evidence and supporting details, and the objective and impartial tone adopted by the writer. The primary purpose of expository writing is to increase the reader's understanding of a particular subject matter. Finally, the persuasive writing style is employed when the author's goal is to influence the reader's beliefs, attitudes, or actions. Persuasive writing utilizes a range of rhetorical techniques, such as the use of logical arguments, the presentation of compellingevidence, and the strategic use of emotional appeals, to sway the reader's opinion. Persuasive writing can be found in political speeches, opinion editorials, advertisements, and argumentative essays. The primary purpose of persuasive writing is to convince the reader to adopt the writer's perspective or to take a specific course of action. While each of these writing styles has its own distinct characteristics, it is important to note that they are not mutually exclusive. The 18th century saw the emergence of the novel of sentiment, which focused on emotional and psychological exploration, often through the lens of female protagonists. Jane Austen's works, such as "Pride and Prejudice," are经典 examples of this genre, exploring themes of love, marriage, and social class. The 19th century marked a significant turning point for the novel, with the rise of the realist movement.
