介绍中国北方天气和能做的事英语作文

介绍中国北方天气和能做的事英语作文

介绍中国北方天气和能做的事英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Weather Up North: Fun in China's Cooler RegionsHi there! My name is Lingling and I'm a 10-year-old girl from Beijing. I love exploring different parts of my home country China with my family. One of my favorite areas is the northern region - it's super cool (no pun intended)! The weather up north is quite different from the warm, humid summers we have in Beijing. Instead of blazing hot temperatures, the northern provinces like Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, and Inner Mongolia tend to be freezing cold for much of the year. That's because of their location - they border Russia and North Korea up at really high latitudes. Brrr!In the winter months from November to March, temperatures can dip way down below freezing, even hitting minus 20 or 30 degrees Celsius some days! Everything is covered in thick layers of snow and ice. The locals have to bundle up in huge puffy coats, scarves, hats, and boots to stay warm. I remember visiting Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, one freezing January and my breath would turn into clouds of vapour anytime I exhaled. So cool! But the cold weather opens up all sorts of fun winter activities you just can't do down south. One of my absolute favorite things is ice skating. In Harbin they have these awesome frozen rivers and canals where you can glide along surrounded by beautiful ice sculptures. The city holds an incredible Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival every winter, where they carve gigantic frozen statues of people, animals, buildings and more. Walking through the parks filled with those icy sculptures shimmering under the colorful lights is like entering a magical frozen kingdom.Sledding and tubing are also a blast in the north. You can zoom down huge snow-covered hills so fast it makes your heart pound with excitement! Last year when we visited my cousins in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province, we spent an entire day riding tubes down this enormous slope. I crashed into snowbanks and did wipe-outs galore, but just brushed myself off and went for another thrilling ride.Another highlight is simply playing outside and making things out of the fresh powdery snow. My brother and I had an epic snowball fight one year in Inner Mongolia, ducking behindforts we built and trying to pelt each other. We also rolled up sticky snow to make a whole family of plump snowpeople - a mom, dad, and little snow-kid! So much creativity and fun.If you get a chance, I highly recommend trying out some of the delicious cold-weather foods you can find up north too. Candied hawthorn fruit is this yummy snack where they glaze tiny tart hawthorns in a crispy sugar shell. The combination of sweet and sour flavors is addictive.Hot pot is another classic northern dish where you cook a huge variety of ingredients like beef, seafood, vegetables, noodles and dumplings in a bubbling pot of savory broth right at your table. It's the perfect meal to warm you up from the inside out on those bone-chilling days. I could eat plate after plate of those tender dumplings all swimming in that scrumptious soup!Once spring arrives between April and May, the weather quickly warms up and all the snow melts away. Now you can see the lush, grassy hills and valleys of the northern countryside emerging from their white blankets. This short window is one of my favorite times to visit, when the air is fresh and crisp but not freezing.A super fun activity in spring is hiking or cycling through the newly green fields and forests. Inner Mongolia and Heilongjianghave tons of gorgeous nature areas filled with gently rolling hills, sparkling rivers and streams, and patches of wildflowers in violet, yellow and pink hues. You might even spot nomads herding flocks of sheep or horses across the grassy plains. My family loves renting bikes and pedaling along backcountry trails through these idyllic landscapes, breathing in the clean country air. We always stop to explore if we see remnants of the Great Wall of China winding along a hilltop. Those ancient fortifications are incredible to check out until this day!Another extraordinary sight in the northern springtime is the blooming of certain flower fields. In Liaoning province there are huge stretches of Land blanketed in gorgeous pastel pink moss phlox as far as the eye can see. Walking among those soft blankets of tiny flowers is so tranquil and refreshing.Around that same time, rape fields across the northern countryside suddenly burst into dazzling yellows as all their tiny budding flowers open up at once. From a distance those brilliant yellow patches look like shimmering golden pools among the green hills. I'll never forget a road trip we took driving past endless quilted fields of that bright yellow rapeseed in full bloom. So vibrant and cheery!Once summer rolls around in June, July and August, the north transforms again into a lush, green paradise. While the temperatures can climb into the 80s and 90s Fahrenheit (around 30 Celsius), it never feels as sweltering and humid as Beijing's summers in the south. This is an amazing season for camping, hiking and exploring the expansive forests and grasslands. One year we pitched tents in Inner Mongolia's Black Bhuree Bayun area and went horseback riding with local guides across篇2The Chilly but Fun Northern ChinaHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm from Beijing, the capital of China. Beijing is located in the northern part of the country, and the weather here is quite different from southern cities like Shanghai or Guangzhou. In the north, we experience four distinct seasons – a hot and humid summer, a colorful and crisp autumn, a freezing and snowy winter, and a warm and breezy spring.I love all the seasons because each one brings its own fun activities and beautiful scenery. But my favorite is probably winter because that's when the real fun begins! Beijing getsreally cold during the winter months, with temperatures often dropping below freezing. On some days, it can even reach a bone-chilling -20°C (-4°F)! When it's that cold outside, I have to bundle up in my warmest clothes – a big puffy coat, a hat that covers my ears, a scarf to keep my neck toasty, and some warm waterproof boots for the snow. And let me tell you, we get a lot of snow in Beijing during the winter! The city looks like a magical winter wonderland, with soft white flakes covering the trees, roads, and buildings. My friends and I love playing in the snow and having big snowball fights. We build adorable snowmen and snow forts too. Sometimes the snow gets so deep that school is even cancelled for a "snow day"! Those are the best days because we can spend the whole time outside sledding down hills, making snow angels, and catching snowflakes on our tongues.Even when it's not snowing, there's so much fun to be had in the winter. My family likes to go ice skating at the big outdoor rinks that get set up around the city. Holding hands and gliding across the ice is a bit scary at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's an incredible feeling! Some of the royal parks and gardens even freeze over their lakes or ponds so you can go ice skatingsurrounded by beautiful landscapes. Just be careful not to fall through the ice!Another cool winter activity is visiting the Huanghua Ski Resort just outside of Beijing. It has lots of different slopes for skiing and snowboarding, ranging from beginner bunny hills to huge double-black diamond runs for the daredevils. I'm still learning to ski, so I stick to the easy green slopes. But it's so much fun whooshing down the mountain with the cold wind in my face and the soft snow spraying up beneath my skis. At the end of the day, my whole family enjoys drinking hot chocolate by the fire to warm up.Although winter is my favorite, the other seasons in northern China are amazing too. Fall is gorgeous, with leaves turning brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow in the parks and forests. My class always goes on a fun field trip during the fall to celebrate the autumn harvest by picking apples, pears, and other fresh fruits and vegetables. Spring brings warmer temperatures and beautiful blooming flowers like peonies, orchids, and cherry blossoms. People flock to the parks and gardens to enjoy the colorful scenery and have picnics with friends. I also love watching the cute baby animals being born on my grandparents' farm during springtime.Summer can get quite hot and humid in Beijing, but that just means it's perfect beach weather! My family travels about an hour to the coastal city of Qinhuangdao to splash around in the ocean and build sandcastles along the shore. We also love biking along scenic trails, hiking up small mountains, and flying colorful kites in the warm summer breeze. No matter the season, there's always something fun happening in northern China! I feel so lucky to experience both the chilly winters with all that snow, as well as the beautiful changes that spring, summer, and fall bring. From sledding and skiing to hiking and beachgoing, I never run out of cool activities to do all year round. If you ever visit Beijing, I'd be more than happy to take you ice skating, show you around our stunning parks and gardens, or even build a snowman with you!篇3Certainly! Here is a 2000-word essay introducing the weather in Northern China and the activities one can do there, written from a child's perspective in English:The Weather Up North in ChinaHi there! My name is Xiaoming, and I'm 10 years old. I live in Beijing, the capital of China, which is located in the northern partof the country. Today, I want to tell you all about the weather we have up here and the fun things we can do!First off, let me tell you about our winters. Boy, do we get some serious cold and snow! The temperatures can drop way below freezing, and we often have to bundle up in thick coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. But you know what? That's what makes winter so much fun! When it snows heavily, the whole city turns into a winter wonderland. The parks are covered in a thick, white blanket, and the trees look like they're wearing fluffy coats. That's when we go sledding and build snowmen! My friends and I love having snowball fights too. Even though it's freezing, we stay out for hours until our cheeks are all rosy and our noses are red like Rudolph's!Another awesome winter activity is ice skating. Many of the lakes and ponds freeze over, and people set up rinks right on the ice. I'm still learning, so I hold onto the railings tightly and wobble around. But some kids are real pros and can do cool tricks and spins! In the evenings, we love to go ice skating at the indoor rinks. It's so much fun gliding around with the music playing.Afterwards, we warm up with some hot chocolate or a snack from the food stalls outside. When it's really cold, a fun thing to do is visit the Ice and Snow World near Beijing. It's a huge park with incredible sculptures and buildings all made of ice! They use colorful lights to make everything glow at night. You can go sledding, ride crazy ice slides, and even stay in an ice hotel. How cool is that?Once spring rolls around in March or April, the weather starts warming up, and the snow melts away. The plants and trees wake up from their long sleep and start turning green again. This is my favorite time because we can go outside without bundling up so much.A popular spring activity is kite flying. On breezy days, you'll see the skies filled with colorful kites of all shapes and sizes. My grandpa is a kite master and has taught me all his tricks. We often have kite competitions in the parks to see whose kite can fly the highest or do the coolest stunts.Springtime is also wonderful for hiking and bike riding. There are lots of nice trails around Beijing where we can explore nature as everything comes back to life. We pack snacks and drinks and spend the whole day out in the fresh air.Another thing I love about spring is going to scenic spots to see the flowers blooming. The parks have so many pretty blossoms like peonies, cherry blossoms, and tulips. We take tons of pictures and sometimes have picnics under the flower trees. It's all so beautiful and colorful!By the time summer arrives, it gets really hot and humid in Beijing. The temp eratures can reach over 100°F (38°C)! To beat the heat, many people go to swimming pools, water parks, or even rivers and lakes to cool off.My favorite place is the Underwater World at Ritan Park. It has a huge pool with slides, waterfalls, and floating toys. I spend hours splashing around and playing games like Marco Polo with my friends. When we get hungry, we have delicious snacks like ice cream, popsicles, or fruit. If it's just too hot to be outside, we stay indoorsy. We go shopping at the big malls, which are nice and air-conditioned. Or we catch the latest movies at the theater while snacking on popcorn. Board game cafes are also popular hangout spots to have fun while escaping the heat.Sometimes, my family takes me on little summer trips to places nearby like the Great Wall or the Longqing Gorge. We go hiking early in the morning before it gets too hot and sunny. Then we find a nice spot to have a picnic lunch and maybe take a nap under some shady trees. As you can see, there's no shortage of fun activities no matter what the weather is like in my part of China! Every season brings its own joys and adventures.Fall is kind of like a mix of all the other seasons. The temperatures start dropping again, but it's still nice enough for lots of outdoor fun. We enjoy hiking, biking, and flying kites without getting too hot or too cold.Beijing has so many parks and historical sites to explore during this season. The Summer Palace is like a giant playground with its lakes, gardens, bridges and pavilions. In the fall, the leaves turn gorgeous shades of red, orange and yellow. My favorite fall tradition, though, has to be the Mid-Autumn Festival! It's kind of like China's version of Thanksgiving. Families get together and eat delicious mooncakes while admiring the bright full moon. We also carry lanterns and sometimes watch cultural performances and fireworks displays. It's a beautiful way to celebrate the fall season!Well, there you have it - all the awesome weather and activities we get to enjoy year-round in Northern China! Whetherit's sledding in the winter, flying kites in spring, splashing at water parks in summer, or admiring colorful fall foliage, there's always something fun going on.I feel so lucky to experience all four seasons in such an amazing place. If you ever visit Beijing, be sure to bring lots of sunscreen, warm clothes, and a sense of adventure. I'll show you all the coolest spots! Thanks for reading, and I'll talk to you again soon!篇4The Wonderful Weather of Northern China and Fun Things to DoHi there! My name is Lily, and I'm a 10-year-old girl from Beijing, the capital city of China. Today, I want to tell you all about the weather in northern China and some of the fun activities you can do here. Get ready for an exciting adventure!Northern China has four distinct seasons, and each one brings its own unique weather and opportunities for fun. Let me start by telling you about the winter season, which is my favorite!Winters in northern China are cold, dry, and often sunny. The temperatures can drop below freezing, and sometimes we evenget snow! When it snows, the world transforms into a beautiful winter wonderland. Everything is covered in a soft, white blanket of snow, and it's so much fun to play in.One of my favorite winter activities is building snowmen. My friends and I love to roll up big snowballs and stack them on top of each other to create our very own frosty friends. We use carrots for their noses, buttons for their eyes and mouths, and sometimes we even give them hats and scarves to keep them warm.Another great winter activity is sledding. There's a big hill near my school, and when it's covered in snow, we love to take our sleds and zoom down the slope. The wind rushes through our hair, and our hearts race with excitement. It's such a thrill! But winter isn't the only season with fun things to do. Spring in northern China is a beautiful time of year when nature comes back to life. The trees sprout new leaves, and colorful flowers start to bloom. One of my favorite spring activities is flying kites. The gentle spring breezes are perfect for kite-flying, and it's so much fun to watch the bright kites dancing in the sky. My friends and I like to decorate our kites with beautiful patterns and designs.Summer in northern China is hot and sunny, with temperatures sometimes reaching over 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius). During the summer, my friends and I love to go swimming in the local pool or splash around in the sprinklers at the park.Another fun summer activity is catching bugs. We love to explore the grassy fields and look for interesting insects like butterflies, ladybugs, and grasshoppers. We catch them carefully in our little bug catchers and observe them up close before letting them go again.Autumn is a stunning season in northern China, with the leaves changing into beautiful shades of red, orange, and yellow. It's the perfect time for outdoor activities like hiking and picnicking. One of my favorite autumn activities is picking apples. There are several apple orchards near my city, and my family loves to go there and pick our own crisp, juicy apples straight from the trees. We always end up with way more apples than we can eat, so we make delicious apple pies and apple cider too.No matter what season it is, there's always something fun to do in northern China. The weather may be different, but the joy and excitement never change.I hope you enjoyed learning about the wonderful weather and fun activities in northern China. Maybe one day you can come and visit me, and we can go sledding in the winter, fly kites in the spring, catch bugs in the summer, or pick apples in the autumn. It would be so much fun to share these experiences with you!Until then, stay curious, stay adventurous, and enjoy the great outdoors wherever you are. There's a whole world of wonder waiting for you!篇5The Weather and Fun in Northern ChinaHi there! My name is Lily, and I'm a 10-year-old girl living in Beijing, the capital city of China. Today, I want to tell you all about the weather and fun things we can do in Northern China.First of all, let me introduce you to the four seasons we have here. In spring, the weather is mild and lovely. The temperature is usually between 10°C (50°F) and 25°C (77°F). It's a great time to go outside and enjoy the blooming flowers and fresh greenery after the long, cold winter. My favorite spring activity is flying kites with my friends in the park. The gentle breeze makes thekites soar high in the sky, and we have so much fun running and laughing together.Summer in Northern China can be pretty hot and humid. Temperatures often reach above 30°C (86°F), and sometimes even above 35°C (95°F)! That's when we love to go swimming or visit water parks to cool off. One of my favorite summer traditions is eating delicious ice creams and popsicles. There are so many yummy flavors to choose from, like mango, strawberry, and even exotic ones like red bean and taro.Autumn is my favorite season because the weather is just perfect – not too hot and not too cold. The temperatures usually range from 15°C (59°F) to 25°C (77°F). The leaves on the trees turn into beautiful shades of red, orange, and yellow, making the whole city look like a painting. My family and I love going on hikes in the nearby mountains to enjoy the stunning autumn foliage and crisp fresh air.Last but not least, winter in Northern China can be quite cold and dry. Temperatures often drop below 0°C (32°F), and we sometimes even get snow! While the chilly weather might not sound too fun, it opens up a whole new world of exciting winter activities. My friends and I love building snowmen, having snowball fights, and going sledding or ice skating. And of course, nothing beats the coziness of drinking hot chocolate by the fireplace after a day of playing in the snow.No matter the season, there's always something fun to do in Northern China. One of my favorite year-round activities is visiting the beautiful parks and historical sites in Beijing. The Summer Palace, with its gorgeous lakes, gardens, and ancient buildings, is always a treat to explore. And let's not forget about the famous Great Wall of China, which stretches for thousands of miles across the northern part of the country. Climbing up the steep steps and taking in the breathtaking views is an unforgettable experience. So, whether you're interested in outdoor adventures, cultural explorations, or just want to indulge in some tasty treats, Northern China has something for everyone. I feel so lucky to call this vibrant and diverse region my home. Who knows, maybe you'll even get to visit and experience the magic for yourself one day!篇6Northern China's Wintry WonderlandBrrr! It's freezing outside! The bitter cold air nips at my nose and turns my cheeks rosy red. Welcome to winter in NorthernChina! The weather here is extreme – the winters are frigid while the summers are scorching hot. But I love when the first snowflakes start drifting down, signaling the arrival of my favorite season. As the temperatures plummet below freezing, a blanket of pristine white snow covers the ground as far as the eye can see. The once barren trees are now laden with sparkling icicles. Everything looks like a scene from a Christmas card! I love trekking outside and crunching through the fresh powder, leaving a trail of footprints behind me.One of the best parts of winter is all the fun activities there are to do in the snow. My friends and I spend hours outside building snowmen, having epic snowball fights, and making adorable snow angels. We take turns lying flat and sweeping our arms and legs back and forth, leaving imprints that look like winged angels. So magical! When we've had our fill of being out in the elements, we rush indoors to defrost our numb fingers and toes. Nothing beats sipping on steaming mugs of hot chocolate piled high with miniature marshmallows. The sweet, creamy drink instantly warms us from the inside out. If we're really chilled, we'll wrapourselves in cozy blankets and curl up to read books or watch movies, savoring this relaxing downtime. Some of my other favorite indoor winter pastimes are arts and crafts. I love getting elbow-deep in sparkly pipe cleaner projects, painting winter scenes, or fashioning clay figurines of snowmen, Christmas trees, and more. Creating art with my own two hands is so gratifying. Plus it's a fun way to spend time with my mom, who always encourages my creative side.As the holiday season approaches, the excitement builds. My friends and I cut out intricate paper snowflakes to hang in the windows and make colorful chains to decorate the tree. We spend hours baking sugary treats like gingerbread men and sugar cookies, which we love to decorate with thick layers of icing and sprinkles. The mouthwatering aroma of fresh-baked goods fills our homes. My absolute favorite part of the holidays is picking out the perfect Christmas tree. I carefully inspect each one at the lot, looking for the ideal shape and fullness. Once we've made our choice and secured it to the car roof, I get to decorate it with strings of twinkling lights, handmade ornaments, tinsel, and a shining star on top. Sitting by the glow of the tree's lights on a snowy evening is pure magic.Of course the highlight for any kid is the arrival of Christmas morning! I can barely sleep from the anticipation of what Santa might bring. As soon as I wake up, I race to the tree to see all the wrapped packages spilling out from underneath. I tear through the wrapping paper to find the latest toys and games I'd been hoping for. Nothing beats that feeling of pure joy on Christmas!Once the hustle and bustle of the holidays has passed, winter settles in for a long stay in Northern China. The days are short and the nights are long, with the sun disappearing by late afternoon. Even though it's freezing, we make sure to get outside in the daylight as much as possible to enjoy the fresh air and pristine snow. Building snow forts and having epic snowball fights makes for some of my most treasured memories. When it's just too frigid to bear, we head inside to warm up over bowls of steaming hot soup, bread fresh from the oven, or sweet red bean paste buns. Games, crafts, reading, and movie nights help us pass the long winter days in a cozy blur. Before we know it, the days start getting longer and the first signs of spring will appear. We'll be sad to see winter go, but we know the snowy fun will return again next year. For now, we'll keep bundling up, breathing in the crisp air, and making the most of this wonderful winter wonderland!。

What is Private Equity
• Private Equity refers to any type of equity or equity-like investment in a company in which the equity is not listed on a public exchange.
• Small Business Act of 1958 The Small Business Act of 1958 provided government loans to private venture capital firms - the first real leveraged purchases. • 1980‘s --Congress relaxed both pension fund restrictions and capital gains taxes. Some of the best known firms were founded-Bain Capital, The Blackstone Group, and The Carlyle. Leveraged buyout firms had routinely tried to profit by shattering the companies into pieces and then selling off the shares. In 1990‘s, capital, leveraged buyout (LBO) and other private equity firms have raised record amounts of money each year. Leveraged buyout firms became known as private equity firms to shed their bad image. (<Barbarians at the gate门口的野蛮人>) Summer 2007/2008 - Public filings KKR, Apollo, Blackstone (Deloitte‘s clients) In the summer of 2007, the sub-prime crisis, triggered a slowdown in private equity financing. Private equity continues to be a large and active asset class and the private equity firms are looking to deploy capital in new and different transactions.
