Lesson 15 My Helmet Saved My Life!一、语篇研读What:本课是以主人公杰基自述的方式描述了一场自行车出行发生的事故。

杰基在骑自行车外出时,掉入了一个坑里,以至于他的手和膝盖都出血了,但是由于戴了头盔的原因,他的头部没有受到伤害。

更幸运的是一个陌生人将他送进了医院而展开的故事。

Why:本课根据杰基的故事,阐述了在日常生活中我们是怎么去上学的?当我们骑自行车时总是很小心吗?为什么或为什么不?How:克服粗心大意是本课应该学习的基本习惯,作为学生,在日常生活中,我们要从点滴做起,认真对待每件事。

在出行前我们应该先检查一下注意事项:1.You have a helmet. A helmet protects your head, which can get hurt in a bicycle accident.是否戴着头盔。

头盔保护你的头部,能防止在自行车事故中受伤。

2. The brakes work OK. No brakes,no cycling.刹车性能良好。

没有刹车,不能骑。

3.The light is still working. Being able to see is really important at night.车灯仍然工作。

晚上能够看得见是很重要的。

4.The tyres are neither too full nor too flat. This will ensure that you have a pleasant trip.车胎不能太鼓,也不能太瘪。
