A place where there are camels, intense heat and more sand than water. But it is home. Well actually this is home. (Shows lamp) Yes, I am a magical Genie, and most of my life is spent in this tiny little lamp.But… this is no ordinary lamp! It once changed a young man's life. His name was Aladdin, and I helped him find true love. He found my magical lamp and it changed his life. (He sets the lamp down and exits. Aladdin enters. He is whistling a tune.)SCENE 2Aladdin: (Notices the lamp) Hey what’s this? (He picks it up) Whew… it’s so dirty… probably just garbage. (He rubs the lamp clean)Genie: (Genie appears. Aladdin is astonished.) Who are you that calls me from my lamp?Aladdin: What?Genie: Who are you? And why have you called me?Aladdin: I didn’t call. I mean I don’t think I did.
