My favorite book is a romance novel. When I was in high school, one of my best friends recommended this book to me. It is Silent Separation written by GuMan. It narrates painful love story between a college couple who have been separated for seven years. While studying at university, Mosheng fell in love at first sight(一瞥，glimpse) with law student Yichen. Through various incidents when Mosheng "stalked" (跟踪，followed) Yichen on campus, Yichen was attracted by Mosheng's cheerful personality. In the end, they slowly became college sweethearts. Then, they had quarrels and Mosheng left for the USA after her father's arrangements. When she was back, everything had changed, expect Yichen's love. Although there were many obstacles(障碍，barriers) between them, such as Mosheng's fake marriage and her unrelentingly(无情地) infatuated ex-husband. However, they ignored all those difficulties and knew each other through misunderstandings. They have missed love over 7 years, but luckily they found each other in the end.The story line is simple, while the feelings of love are strong in this book. In this world, true love is hard to find, but the hardest thing is to maintain a relationship. The insistence of both main characters eventually push them get back together(破镜重圆). Yichen said 'If that person ever appeared, anyone else would just be a compromise. I don’t want to compromise.' I think I should wait for my Mr. Right too.
